MIKOLAS 0-2 10.05ERA VS GREENE 2-0 1.32ERA

Four game series against the worst team in baseball right now. The Yankees need three of four as there's no excuse otherwise.

Three of four would be good, in addition it would be cool for the Bostons and Jay split their series, Baltimore to lose the Angels series, and the Tampa Team to be swept in both games with the Cardinals.

Cliff Lee, a steady 90 mph fastball 1st Inning. Fly out, pop out to catcher, groundout. 123 inning.

1-0, sac fly by Beltran. Jeter has to be climbing the runs scored list.

If Roberts keeps this up any longer, they're going to make a Bobble Hands Figurine of him.....

...that's it...I can't take Roberts ineptitude any longer...Tote, send one of your guys to his house after the game.

...put him next to Hoffa.

39 more Runs, and Jeter ties Stan Musial - 9th All Time, at 1949.

Cap Anson at #8, has 1999 Runs ...

O'neill just asked Kay what he thinks the organization saw in Kelly Johnson. I love it.

Pitching & defense........the backbone to WS Championships.

This year's Yankees..........the kid pitchers are a +. Yankee defense is a -.

This offense really knows how to hit the snooze button.

Did somebody not tell the Yankees they had a game tonight?

This team is badly in need of offensive help.

One game at a time: end result tonight, loss. A game that needs to be won, getting your ass kicked by the worst team in baseball, behind a pitcher with a 10+ era looking like CY Young. Once again the offense failed, Thornton sucked, and the Yankees lost.

Look on the bright side, wait....who turned off the lights...??? Or did I go blind...?

On days like this, Don't leave home without it (your shit storm umbrella)...
:smiley-kisa: :shitstorm: :smiley-kisa:

I'm holding my breathe til the trade deadline, something's gotta give-
:snorkel:

and pray like hell too :blessed:

Just when you think they're turning the corner & possibly putting some kind of streak together say 8 out of 10, they revert back to there losing ways.

Exactly...disappointing on many levels. I'd rather Jeter either K with bases loaded and 1 out....or at least try to loft a fly out.

1- BTW-Rick James Garner's birth name was Bumgarner, coincidence, no relation to Madison.....looks like were going to have a good NL West Rivalry b/t the Giants and Bums.....this last half, looking forward to it....!

2- I agree, I'd much rather see Jeter going down swinging for the fences, or short porch, than hit into a weak infield & final game ending out. Jeter can hit the ball out of the park when he sets his mind to it. Where did the ghosts of Earl Weaver go....!
