Ever notice how teams bring up a new guy on the staff and they perform well. Sure would be nice to see this kid step in and do a nice job, but then again I remember his last time up.

We had a great chance to sweep the Twins & might have without Cervelli's fiddy cent throw to 1st base. But we really need to string a few Ws together.

So much for that mini slump I mentioned. I should have known better.

I've oft wondered, had Ichiro of been signed originally as a Yank, in lieu of a Mariner, would Cashman of screwed up by trading him away some years ago? I doubt it, yet nothing Cashman does or doesn't do surprises me anymore....~

Heaven Forbid.....

Ichiro in Seattle (either field-King Dome or Safeco): loved every aspect of his game: Getting Vertical, with his waist up to the wall line, make incredible catches, with an arm second only to Roberto Clemente. NTM-his single season Hits Record was a modern day incredible feat....!

Ichiro had a Sharp's Buffalo Rifle, Clemente a Tomahawk Missile of an arm.

...had he'd been a Yankee, he'd be a Yankee God, and he'd be taking a victory lap and riding off into the sunset along with Jeter.
 
Well he got into a bad count with Swisher or else this would be very interesting going into the sixth. Lets get some more runs.

tex by far is either the dumbest BB player i have ever seen or most conceded, he has the ability to go other way and he won't.

...nice first start by Greene...hit 95 MPH a few times and kept the ball down...gotta pull for the youngsters.
