If Sportstwo isn't going to enforce their own rules, why even have them? NB, how many times have you and I went 12 rounds - yet, we still respect each other and come back to agree/disagree/discuss. Same with Tlong - he's one of my favorite posters, lol. All of us disagree and go at it from time to time.

But, PapaG is the only one here who not only calls people f*idiots, and makes insulting personal attacks instead of attacking a post - and he's allowed to. Really devalues the board. No wonder former players, people like FishDuck, donors - who post and are part of the Scout family will never come here....because people like PapaG are allowed to do their thing.

At least PapaG is straightforward and dependable. And he's harmless. For example, PapaG did nothing else but bark when Barfo murdered his family; I don't think he really wants to hurt you. Hey, I read the news as well and was a little shocked and saddened, but let's not burn the fucking house down over it.....

I'll tell you what is positive about this.....

1) He is not going, so this was 12 hour flurry of...well...nothing...

2) Don't think that recruits don't recognize that A) He could be an NFL head coach & B) That he passed up an NFL job (for now) to coach at Oregon

3) That the University of Oregon was not caught flat footed with this news, that they have contingency plans in place

4) That many in college circles believe the Oregon head coaching job to now be one of the premier jobs in the country

5) That Oregon lost NO recruits as of yet over this "much ado about nothing"....Castro apparently had already switched to UCLA before he even KNEW about this news (and his mom apparently is\was really pushing him to go there) and one athlete prospect, who IMO was a longshot anyway (Drew) said he probably was not longer considering Oregon...BFD

Seriously, calm down everyone...I come to this board this morning and see all these threads and these chicken little posts, and it is embarrassing...Everything will be all right..

It will be a study in leadership to see how Oregon responds, after losing Kelly. I don't think the adjustments will be too dramatic.

Most discussions are regarding Kelly, but I'm more concerned with the "raided cupboards" and 8 assistance he took with him.

Chipper hasn't failed yet...Might take a few years to establish his long term plan in Philly, but I think he'll record a marked improvement over recent Philly results.
