Just remember, Krstic, Boone and Nachbar didnt play together last year.

I, to borrow a Foxworthy term, ustacould. The longer gap (4 years) between my 3rd and 4th sons than any the others left me way out of practice.

Yep, I did screw that up. That's why I keep the Gregg Reference Manual on my desk at work.

After all the times he has had his math errors pointed out, I have no problem with him pointing out my grammar and usage errors

I was going to start a 96 minutes thread about the minutes distribution at the 4 & 5, but since the topic has been touched upon, here, there is no need.

It looks to me like Krstic will be the only Nets big man to average over 22 MPG as the rest are a bunch of role players that will get adjusted in and out of the lineup depending upon matchups.

Outside garbarge time, we're talking about Magloire, Collins, Krstic and Boone playing major minutes, with Nachbar sneaking in for something like 5-10 of those 96. So yeah, that does sound like about 22 mpg for the Mags-Collins-Boone combo, with Krstic getting more because he's, you know, good.

I admit, that's convincing evidence that Smokey and Benson wouldn't play outside injuries or someone falling into Frank's doghouse. If we're going to have end-of-the-bench cheerleaders who we're building up as prospects, I'd MUCH rather have the 22 year old Benson than Malik Allen.

Both have non guaranteed contracts, but take a look at the Nets roster on their website. Allen is listed on the roster, Benson is not.

Unless I typed it in wrong, Benson doesn't have a player profile.

Does Benson have a contract? I just thought he had an invite to camp, but nothing in paper yet.
