Hi All,

I’m heading over from Australia to come and see 3 Blazers home games end of Feb. I’m super excited and can’t wait.

Flights, car, tickets and hotel all booked. Been a big bucket list item.

Question that I can’t find. In Aus you often can watch the players warm up before the game & meet the players.

Are you able to do this for Blazers games & if so anything that need to be aware of?

they’ll open the doors a couple hours (?) before the game and you can try to get an autograph maybe but that’s about it. More importantly, so sad to hear about Australia and the fires. Air is crisp and clean here, it’ll be a huge relief.

The entire concept that an Australian's bucket list item is coming to PDX to see the Blazers is so insanely cool to me. Have fun, brother!

Glad you are getting a chance to come see them play. Wish they were having a better season for you to do it.

Cool thanks - I can’t wait.

Yeah the fires are terrible - the hectares burnt already ranks it in the top 70 countries size wise already and the season has just started so alot more fires to come which isn’t great.

Air quality is terrible - its very clear and clean here one day then struggle to see 5meters in front of you the next.

Hopefully we'll trade CJ for Ben Simmons by then. Oi!

ahahaha that would be awesome although Simmons does

Thanks!!!

I’m a huge Melo fan from college. So him coming back and added bonus playing for the blazers (he should of come years ago) just was meant to be. It’s gonna be awesome.

Live in Melbourne but travel to Sydney heaps.
Hopefully you don’t come this way for work until the fires are long gone. It’s not a great time to be out and about in Sydney at the moment.

I studied abroad in Melbourne over a decade ago, loved it! If you want a local Portland guide hit me up and we can grab a pint. :)

I would definitely contact the Blazers and let them know where you are coming from to see the team and tell them your wishes to meet some players, especially Melo for you. Maybe @SlyPokerDog can offer some contacts he has. Might even get a seat upgrade. Enjoy your trip when you get here.

I hope your visit breeds exciting times and good memories, so you make it another bucket list for when we have a WINNING record. Enjoy Portland!!!

SO, ANYWAYS, @Sprayzen1908 , I've been to Oz twice. We got welcomed in by a couple strangers, like we were some distant relatives. Went horseback riding on their horses. They took us to the primo clubs. All the sites that our new friends knew were the best. WELL, It's time to pay it back....

I am 45 minutes south of Portland. You can skip paying for the hotel, and stay here for free. Free room, and you'll get some decent food for free too. We can take you to some fun sites to see also. Just PM me if you're interested.

I’ve at times gone in as soon as they open the doors and found an open seat close to the floor while they warm up. I’ve never had any issues doing this and always watch for when the arena starts filling up as a cue to head to my seat.
