It has been since Dec 21 when he injured the ankle. What is the present status? Is he practicing yet? At what level?

This is kind of how Winslow’s career has gone. Nothing new.
No doubt.

I wouldn't be shocked if this isn't even the longest absence for an ankle he's had in the last four years or so.

I imagine that Neil would sign him to a 4 year contract if he was still the GM.

Imagine if somebody told you on Dec 21 his sprained ankle would be season ending. Everybody would be shocked lol

Someone actually said last summer that he would turn an ankle and would be out 40 games. I cannot remember who posted that but i sure would love to find it.

I know I’ve said in the past this is who he is and exactly why he never stays on teams long after he left Miami

i believe that the procedure is actually a surgery.

PORTLAND, Ore. (March. 17, 2023) Trail Blazers forward Justise Winslow sustained a left ankle sprain Dec. 21 at Oklahoma City. Post All-Star break, Winslow received a second opinion, and a subsequent bone morrow aspirate concentrate procedure was performed in March to address continued left ankle discomfort.

He will continue his rehab regimen and be re-evaluated in the coming weeks.

Unload him. Can't stay healthy.

Seriously? Over a sprained ankle? The Blazers don't need this.

That is too bad. I like his physicality for his position. But it is hard to ignore his weird ass injuries. Still, for the cheapest vet salary possible, (1.5? ) I would still consider bringing him back next year if the medical staff felt good about it.
