Pretty cheap all things considered. But I'm glad we chose Hood over Kanter. Especially now with WHITESIDE.

Who would’ve thought Kanter would’ve got less than Aminu AND Curry? I wonder if his value is lower because of the whole Canada thing. That’s a minimum two games the Celtics will be without what should be their starting center.
Lol like dictator gives a fuck if he’s defeated in the polls.Didn't Erdogan get defeated? Isn't he safe to travel now?
After Hood got the TMLE, the most we could offer Kanter is a vet min.seems atr that cost we possibly could have had all of them?
Trade Trent for cap space. After Hood got the TMLE, the most we could offer Kanter is a vet min.
OB stop posting about the cap. This makes no sense and you obviously don't understand it, lol.Trade Trent for cap space.
Seems with how many scenarios money can be manipulated, if NO wanted to he could have made it/something work.
Not that im upset in the least.

Lol this guy loves attention huh?

No, it doesn't work like that.It was one thing that I thought might work. Based on the convos in threads, seems like very few people understand the cap with all the confusion about finances. so I assert and maintain my position. I'm willing to bet something could have been done to get them all.
The time pressure is a killer when you have artificial deadlines and moving pieces. I understand Kanter's frustration, but also understand Olshey needing to get an answer. My guess is Kanter's agent knew what we could offer and Kanter had more time because he was tipped off before it became official. It's just that we needed an answer as quickly as we could formulate an official offer.
Wonder when this happened. Maybe before the Hood signing, because they needed to know? Or before the Whiteside trade since they had that and maybe another deal lined up. That doesn't make sense either because we can only offer him the vet min at that point.
Either way, bye Kanter. Was a good half season. Dude definitely talks a lot but I'm still gonna hold him in good regards because he played his ass off for us.
No, it doesn't work like that.
The only chance Portland had to keep both was if Hood took $4.16 million next year. Otherwise we had to choose one or the other. We would have had to trade ET, Harkless, and Leonard for nothing in return (basically impossible) just to sign both to the deals they got.
Yeah, either he's known since he signed here in February the max we could offer him or his agent is a moron. There is no way he didn't understand that Portland would need a quick decision. The time pressure is a killer when you have artificial deadlines and moving pieces.
