Fuck this idiot...talk about someone wasting his celebrity with absolutely no idea how music has broken racial and cultural barriers..he's trying to set back the wonderful cooperation that brought people of all color together through the the arts. If he thinks music is all black folks have to rise above the past..he must hate sports. Let him listen to Tell Mama by Etta James...then tell him, it was the vision of a white owned Stax recording company that supported Etta when no one else would. Then tell him that soulful track was performed by mostly white session players...it's considered one of the standards for blues and soul music by a whole lot of black artists I've met and worked with.
