IMO it stands out alot....its good for it to stand out but it takes away alot of emphasis from the main picture because it is so dark....maybe lowering the opacity on the drop shadow and putting it on the right side.....also try some thing other then a gradient.....maybe a soft light on it...idk w.e works the best.
