Her time frame has now exceeded 36 years, during which she obviously had ample opportunities to report her claims to local law enforcement authorities.

She needs to put up or shut up immediately. She's the one destroying lives right now, and she has no excuse to further obstruct justice.

If her story is true, file a police report and provide details so it can be properly investigated.

If she wants the FBI to investigate, why won't she let the FBI question her to get the details she wants investigated?

I suspect she is afraid of being caught lying to the FBI. It's a "thing" now.

Cup, the fact is no one really knows yet what's happened. I agree with an investigation if warranted.
To me it seems either party will go beyond sensible to prevent an en-balanced Supreme Court.
If he did it I don't want him on the Court, but if she's being bought to create something (which isn't beyond believe from both sides) she should be punished for it.
How much evidence is needed to ruin someones life anymore? Its scary. Someone should be presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Actually they did not delay or steal anything. The withheld consent which was their call.

Making allegations that can not be proven is probably slander, or perhaps libel. Hard to tell since we only have hear say, nothing direct.
 
We find ourselves in a shitty situation. Garland should have been comfirmed. As it stands the republicans used delay tactics for a year to stop it from happening. Perhaps, it is too close to the elections to do this. Perhaps not. If Kavanaugh is guilty he should be stripped of his judgehood, not be allowed to join the supreme court. It will be very hard to prove him guilty. It will be her word vs his. The only witness won't testify. Could he be forced? Maybe? Would he still refuse to say much besides I don't recall? Probably. If Kavanaugh is somehow innocent, (of course he is going to deny such accusations) let him through. It sucks donkey balls in alaska but its the law. That said if this gets pushed to midterms, there is a blue wave, and a liberal judge gets through, then good. Because there should be +1 in the SC now anyway. Also, this shows us the importance of term limits. Not only in congress or senate, but in the supreme court. No one should get a government position for life in this country.

They too should have term limits...No gov job should be for life.
 
How can he be guilty? There is no trial. There isn't even a charge filed.

Let her have her hearing next week. Let Kavanaugh defend himself. Then the vote will take place. It will happen before the elections so don't get your panties in a bunch.
 
Just listened to a long winded explanation of what is happening by Judith Miller.

Kavanaugh is not presumed innocent since this is not a court of law. This is a confirmation and therefore he must prove himself innocent to be worthy of a life time appointment. Lord help us!

I suppose what was not said, is the most important, Republican appointments need not apply.
