So the questions about Ford's polygraph would normally be answered by calling the polygraph examiner as a witness...

Funny that didn't happen here, I wonder why not?

One potential explanation - she mentioned that the test took much longer than she expected - it could be because the examiner had to wait till she finished crying and ask the question again. But I don't know anything about the mechanics of polygraphs.

Took place in a hotel lobby right after her grandma's funeral they had to rush as she had a plane to catch. You know a pretty standard test

Sure... again, one would ask the examiner for evidence the test was conducted properly.

I see the opinions flow, but the logic is missing.
Is there a person in this forum that has been his class Valedictorian, Captain of the BB team?

There is one, is there another?

Then let's add to the above qualification, that this person also drinks himself stupid way too often.

Is there one of these in this forum? I know of none, do you know of one? Is it a plausible set of qualifications?

What about if they lie about it under oath?

I suspect this was your qualification for being a mod.

As I said in the other thread. When it comes to moderating I am fair and unbiased. My opinions remain my own. These two remain seperated.

That post was in reponse to a poll that stated most republicans would be for nominating him even if he did it. I find that disgusting. I don't find everything about conservatives to be disgusting.

Do you know of a case?

Falsus in unum, falsus in omnibus
He claimed that he was the champion of the Ralph club because he has a weak stomach and not due to excess drinking? You really believe that?

It never occurred to me to render a judgement on something in anyone's year book. Or his explanation in response to a fucking dumb ass question.

You have also never been on a senate committee that is responsible for vetting a supreme court justice either.

So, it’s ok if a nominee lies under oath if it’s a dumb ass question.

Actually this is the sort of peripheral noise that made this confirmation hearing a side show in a low grade circus.

Yep. No reason to question the guy's fitness for the office, or look at any evidence to the contrary.

Yep! It is not the place to replace a trial that never occurred.

So the only thing that should ever disqualify a judicial nominee is a criminal conviction?

For those (not necessarily here) wondering why someone may get fired up, choked up, fight back against allegations like this instead of just taking it like a quiet white male should, I offer up the first of what will likely be many hit pieces. Probably on both parties. Only one deserved--the FBI will inconclusively show us which, of course.

As we've seen that Soros-paid "confronters" have no issue with getting in the face of congressmen at their place of work, or at dinner...I could only imagine showing up at a 5th-grader's basketball game. Cleared or not. This is why someone might be fired up. Or call out people he thinks are pieces of excrement, whether or not they're senators. Maize and Spartacus and Blumenthal and Feinstein may want to hold off on asking for "full investigations" of what went on.

Not every "someone" is looking at a lifetime position as a supreme court judge either. When I first saw him do his little show speech with the tears, the anger and the vile, I thought to myself I might react the same way. Then a few minutes later I reversed and thought this is not the type of temperament that is befitting of a supreme court justice and then when he spewed his vile regarding the trump like rant about the democrats and the Clintons showed me his extreme bias which is a poor example for an unbiased judge to say. The topper is his position on some issues, but mainly his issue that he feels presidents are above the law. I feel that is the sole reason Trump nominated him so he can try and escape his legal issues as Trump does many things for personal reasons and gain. Not good.

From reading many of your posts, you appear to be a pro trumper and a devout republican which is entirely your freedom to choose, but understand that Trump has created much of this polarizing effect with his constant attacks on media and those that disagree with him and consistently calling those he doesn't approve of as the "enemy. He does nothing to try and bring this country together and in fact creates the exact opposite.

There is a fine line between being angry and defending yourself... but when you go into childrens antics of belittling and being condescending... the latter tends to lead to being guilty. Like I said before, had he just vehemently denied and stayed steadfast in that, I'd tend to agree... but then he just went off the rails. He looks so much more guilty.

The FBI should do 7 background checks on him.

Oh wait, they already did those.

How many has his accuser passed?

...they tried to have the examiner testify before the committee...but the GOP members denied them, period.

...none of those "background checks" were done after the new charges were brought...but you knew that, right?

...that's no excuse for his behavior.
