it's always tough when you have highly paid vets and no other team wants them, you are forced to play them.

as far as bird goes, i think he's a keeper, he' s got a lot of olerud in him, but if the yanks have to use him to better the team they will imo.

From what I've seen thus far, I'm expecting from Bird compared to Olerud- a little less defense, and more HRs. That'll do nicely for now.
