I don’t think his jumper is quite elite yet. His percentages aren’t too great.

I’m watching Banchero right now. The more I watch him the more I like him.

I’m betting Chauncey and Joe are watching a lot of college ball today.
Jabari is over 42% from three this season and 80% from the line. So his percentages are pretty damn good. His three point percentage would be even better if he didn't rush it at times. Both his hands and feet on defense are freaking fantastic.

I'm watching Banchero too, he's definitely the better passer but he's playing in a way better system with better teammates who help, so opposing defenses aren't just keying in on him.

Like I said I like Jabari but Paolo is really good too, they are the two players with the best chance of being all stars in this draft and will both definitely be big time starters in the league for a long time barring injuries.

Yeah, this draft is kind of a sleeper. I originally wasn’t too thrilled about it. The more I pay attention I think 1-20 has some real solid players. Of course like every draft you’ll be able to find that hidden gem possibly in the 2nd round

Their guards aren't setting anything up and are fouling on every defensive play. Tennessee is a really hard team to play against at home... they pressure the whole game and we're seeing the results of that right now. Auburn is playing more mentally fatigued than anything.

The Auburn guards will sometimes go long stretches like they forgot Smith and Kessler are on their team.

He’s more of a catch and shoot guy at least for now. Paolo is probably the only one of the big 3 who can even create his shot. Smith 2 point percentage is awful with 44%. He lack a mid range game and seem to struggle going to the rim. With that having being said, smith is still the #1 pick his floor is Jaren Jackson with his ceiling being whatever how great he want to become

Agbaji looking real nice. I want this kid with one of our picks. Plays hard all the time

My first mock draft attempt, Jabari went number 3 in this draft so not sure what to make of that.

Tshiebwe is going to go in the 1st. I think late lottery
I haven’t seen anything on him projected that high but being a UK guy he’s my favorite current college player, I’d love for him to be a Blazer.

Really fun tool to play around with. Not a huge fan of Davis, but would love to get Duren at #10. Tshiebwe at #39 would be an outright steal. At #58, I'm taking a flyer on Badji. You can't teach 7'8" wingspan with that much mobility.

I watched a little of him yesterday for the first time, and I agree. I wasn't familiar with the name and went to look up his projection in the mocks, and I have no idea what they're not seeing. Great rebounder and defender, decent size, capable scorer, high energy whether or not he has the ball. Late lottery sounds right to me.

Have we really reached the point where a Jr or Sr is automatically a second round pick simply because they might be closer to their ceiling?

Thoughts on Shaedon Sharpe? No college tape on him, would be purely selected for his talent, but were talking about the number one recruit in the country. drafting him outside of the top 5 could pay off big time. It'd kinda be like drafting a high schooler back in the day, and not much different than when they drafted Ant. Cronin also seems like the upside type.

Duren and Sharpe in one draft would be the ultimate upside play.

Someone would take Shaedon Sharpe over Zion Williamson in college?

Yes, Jeff Goodman of Stadium predicts the UK commit to be that good.

Sharpe, the consensus No. 1 player in the 2022 class, committed to Kentucky earlier this month.

On The Field of 68 Podcast, Rob Dauster asked Goodman, “Is there anybody in this class you would take over a Zion Williamson?”

“Shaedon Sharpe,” replied Goodman. “Shaedon Sharpe in college, I might, I might. The whole thing with Zion, maybe not. The whole thing.”

Dauster replied, “Wait, you would take Shaedon Sharpe in college over Zion Williamson? I want you on the record on this.”

“I freaking love Shaedon Sharpe,” Goodman said. “I love him. You know what he is? Here’s what he is that Zion wasn’t: He can score at all three levels. He can shoot it from deep, he can get to the basket, he can dunk over you. Zion could dunk over you, but he couldn’t shoot the ball. And he was hurt. He was a marketing superstar and a highlight freak, all that.

“But Shaedon Sharpe, I freaking love this kid. I love him. You’ve got me on the record, and I’m not gonna back down from it. I freaking love Shaedon Sharpe.”

would need some really good intel on him.

remember hamidou diallo?

I mean, if Diallo is the floor that's not that bad. Hes arguably been the Pistons best player this season.
im not comparing the players, only the stories/intrigue about them before the draft having no on-court product to scout.

Well obviously there's more risk when evaluating him, but he was the top recruit for a reason. You could potentially land a guy that could've been in the discussion to be the top pick towards the second half of the lottery. Worth exploring at least.

i've been really cold on AJ Griffin but his 3pt efficiency is undeniable. Still scoffing at the ubiquitous Jimmy Butler comps-- I think he's more like a Wayne Ellington/taller Ben McLemore.

He’s a tough one to get a read on for sure. It kinda funny that he move like Jimmy butler but doesn’t play like him necessarily. He’s a way better 3 point shooter than butler ever was. But he doesn’t seem to have a playmaker skill or defense that butler possessed. I think March madness will give us a really good read on him

not top 5, but similar kinda mystique and debates of whether he should enter the draft. he entered it initially but went back to UK to actually play some games.

Diallo was 46 in his class. Sharpe is consensus top 5. Not exactly the same.

But if you wanted to compare to a prospect who was a top 10 high school class kid with little to no college experience, look no further than Anfernee Simons. Simons was ranked anywhere 5-10 in his class and didn't go to college.

I can't believe we are tied with the Knicks now. I looked at the Knicks schedule and there's a chance they lose every game from now until the end of the season. Holy shit. We really need to tank even harder.

so Portland and the Knicks sink together.

I would do everything humanly possible to get Ivey still. Superstar. They need to tank like no team has tanked before.
