Shit dude... people are projecting him as the #1.... I would certainly hope he's an All-NBA caliber prospect.

Very few real busts on the list. Rookie stats presented:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_first_overall_NBA_draft_picksthey have been, more often than not.
oh my
FTFYChet would have been broken by that dunk.....lol
Conveniently forgetting players like Russell Westbrook and Zach Randolph...i'll openly admit i haven't watched a single Baylor game. But it worries me to read that the "best defender" in college basketball can't start on his own team. We've seen this story before. With Collins... and how about Marvin Williams in the Chris Paul draft? Similar sorta championship level NCAA team and they had this supposed terrific prospect who didn't play.
I've already compared him with a taller Kirilenko, but if you really want optimistic comparisons, a sort of cross between Bill Walton and Kevin Garnett. So fundamentally sound and defensively dominant. He's this year's Evan Mobley.Chet is going to be an absolute stud. Don’t care about his weight kid does a little bit of everything well above average. IMO he’s got the most potential upside. I’d be extremely happy if we are able to get him and wouldn’t be surprised if he goes number 1. If it weren’t for his weight there’d be no question this kid is going to be superstar

Maybe 4 busts in 20 yrs. Which is a terrific hit rate.
Re: Sochan.
I'm wary of drafting guys who don't start on their college teams in the lottery.
Zach Collins memories still fresh on my mind.
Ya I know Nas didn't start at UNC either, but he dropped to #25 for a reason.

Westbrook started 34 of 39 games his last year at UCLA.Conveniently forgetting players like Russell Westbrook and Zach Randolph...
Well, he does play, he just doesn’t start. He plays quite a bit actually. A lot more than Collins did for the Zags.i'll openly admit i haven't watched a single Baylor game. This fan view caught some of his teammates reactions as well.
OK Jrue HolidayWestbrook started 34 of 39 games his last year at UCLA.
lol... he started every game he played in college, even as a freshman.OK Jrue Holiday
I should, shouldn't I. My only defense is he wasn't the PG, but was drafted to be one.lol... he started every game he played in college, even as a freshman.

You should just stop.
He would have he's gets that high and has great hands. That dunk isnt what everyone is making it out to be. Big guy, ball right to him and runway take off. But Chet would have Posterized that DunK.Chet would have blocked that dunk.....lol
Having watched the two Baylor games, I liked Sochan, but he's not a lottery pick, IMO. He's a good all-around player who plays hard but I don't see him being the guy who can switch on PnR and defend quality guards with any real ability. He's probably a late 1R guy who can stick and contribute off the bench as a later R1 pick.
Getting back to prospects in this year's draft, here is a pre-draft analysis of Nikola Jović:Here is a pre-draft analysis of Nikola Jokić:
A skilled big man with great awareness and length, the Serbian is appealing as a potential addition to the frontcourt. With great footwork and vision, he makes crafty plays with the ball in his hands.
Jokic's upside isn't too spectacular because he's a below-average athlete, so he'll have to focus on utilizing his skill set and operating as an efficient shooter and passer within a system...
The big downside, though, is his athleticism. He doesn't get much lift off the floor at all, and he doesn't have the speed burst to drive past opponents or stay in front of them laterally.
It's going to give him major problems on defense and limit him to being a role player on offense.
