Former Blazer Kenny Anderson is reportedly in the hospital after suffering a stroke. Hope he will be OK.

That does suck. Our qc manager had a stroke last week at home. Just got transfered to ohsu but still no visitors.
They are serious. Hope Kenny doesnt have any lasting effects and has a full recovery.

I'm in the credits of the movie as I supported it. It was nothing, I just sent like 100 bucks and got a shirt and a shout out in the credits lol.

He was on a flight of mine 2 years ago from Florida to NY. We chatted quite a bit about his time as a Blazer, he was such a nice guy. Really humble, he sat in coach!

Kenny dropped a late-game jumper in traffic and got fouled to seal a game early in the season (against the T—Wolves, if I remember correctly). We got Rider, KA, JO, and Sheed all in the same offseason, if I remember correctly.

That was an exciting time for the Blazers. I loved having Kenny Anderson (he was my 2nd favorite non Terry Porter PG in the league. Rod Strickland being the other).

I actually didn't like the trade for Damon at the time, though Kenny had only 2 more decent years after that so in retrospect it wasn't a bad trade.

Kenny was the first dude to buy out an entire section for kids. I remember the "Kenny's Kids" section. After he started doing it, several players did it as well, but he was the first.

I really liked Kenny. I wanted Damon on the team, but Kenny was a good dude.

Strokes are no joke. A guy I grew up with had a major stroke a year or so ago, and he's basically a kid now. All the memories are gone. He can't function as an adult. The really shitty part is that he's married with two kids, and their dad is just gone. He was a healthy guy who was very active, so it proves it can happen to anyone.
