Kevin Calabro has parted ways with the team

What’s crazy to me is they fire a blazer lifer in MB for a dude who just bails after a few years. Shows you how little KC cared.
I think his age and this virus thing are connected to this...it could be he's just done....a lot of us geezers are not looking to travel much over the next couple years and in some cases it's for health reasons...

Also, this makes me reminisce about the time I got the fortunate opportunity to meet Kevin Calabro. I said it then and I'll say it again, just an extremely classy guy, and conversated with me for about 10 minutes. About Basketball, I-5 being a traffic jam nightmare up in Seattle, and life. He is extremely personable and you could tell he lived and breathed what he did for a living, and he cares about folks.

Thanks for the 4 years, Calabro. I can't imagine it was an easy decision given the passion you showed for your profession, but ultimately, it's your life and all the respect for that. Cheers!

Kent is one of the hardest working dudes I’ve seen in sports, coaches son, three sport athlete, dude basically was the only good thing about PAC 12 network for a grip too.

now we have a Duck and Beaver on the mic too, they can freely talk shit lol

That fucking Dick....

When we lost the championship my first season, I was gassed and out of basketball shape. I was missing free throws badly because I was that delirious. I decide to shoot a jump shot 15-footer to get some legs underneath it. As I was shooting it this MF says:

"Takes a jumper from the free-throw"

In a smarmy lil' bitch voice I'll never forget. Now, I'm not going to blame him for missing that free-throw because I was missing a lot of them but no I AM going to blame him for missing that fucking free throw....

really well....long though...was in the hospital for 12 hours....7 of them knocked out.....3.5 hour surgery...doc said it went really well.right now the ping pong match in my chest is over.....that's a reall relief after weeks of dealing with it.......only downside is I thought it would get rid of some of my meds and instead they added one more....thanks for checking in my friend....the riverman lives to fish again...will be a bit fragile for a week or so but that's the new normal at 66....
Great to hear Riv! But don’t get discouraged if the recovery takes awhile (discomfort wise). We’re not as young as we used to be.....And don’t be doing anything too strenuous (no, I don’t meaning “doing” the moderator) for a couple of weeks. Let yourself heal for awhile.

Wait what? I missed you went back under the knife? Well a day late and a dollar short, but you can hopefully still accept my change. :)

Glad to see your right back at it!

Why do you have to make everything about you?

That aboy! glad it went well, the fish are waiting!

More proof his firing was justified and came too late.
I would love to see my first post on BBF.
You know I got suspended over there because somebody was talking about the Olympic team.....so I started a thread asking what would be the best ALL WHITE USA team and how we would do......and somebody suspended me for that. Don't miss that place. Don't remember who sent me an email about coming over here in the great migration......wish I knew who to blame

ABM actually reached out to a lot of people. Some Blazer fans from bbf had already migrated over here before the migration (me)

I joined this nerd family the day we drafted Martell Webster over in BBF. Kevin Pritchard told me about you guys.
Also, that is awesome that KP was reading our bullshit. I love that. I was pretty happy with drafting Webster. I had high hopes for him. Loved watching him play. It hurts knowing we could have had CP3 though.

Or D-Will!!!!

Nash was the GM when we drafted Webster.
Ya I think you’re right. Cheeks was the coach when I started traveling with the team. Then KP took over as interim coach. I think he was also assistant GM.
