Angus T. Jones calls his show filth and seems to be extremely religious in an interview on YouTube. He's making 350k per episode at 19 years old and has grown up on set making millions, watching sheen and the rest of the cast, it's got to be an odd childhood.

Wierd interview. If he thinks the show is filth and doesn't want to do it anymore, why did he sign a 1 year deal last year and why is he still showing up for work and collecting pay checks. I don't recall if he said it in the interview, but did he recently become super religious?

If he doesn't want it I can take the role, no problem if they adjust the part up to age 20.

Kid gets paid $350,000 an episode. He'll never work in the business again.

He should give back his salary then.

Welcome to the world of Kirk Cameron kid. Not that this kid was the star Kirk was (really, does anyone see this kid becoming a star on his own?), but he'll join Kirk in the world of being a total unknown weirdo that no one cares about or hires.

The show should capitlize in this and make it a joke. Have a new actor play his role in each episode. Although, the show should just be put to death.

Meh. The kid's growing up and doesn't like the show. So what's new. Many actors don't like the work they do when it's garbage. I'm so shocked.

He's done 210 episodes. I know he makes $350,000 an episode now but I'm sure he didn't get that in the beginning. So lets figure he's on average made $100k per episode. That's $20 mill and that doesn't include what he makes from the show in syndication.

I'd hate the show too.

No wonder Charlie Sheen, a Jew, had to get stoned to come to work with the Jesus brat.

Maybe they could bring Charlie back and give him the teenage punk's job after they fire him. Sheen could handle the role.

widely-perceived hypocrisy out of a born-again evangelical? Say it ain't so!

He's angling to take over the 700 Club.

I like Charlie Sheen and I'm trying to find a job for him. Is Pat Robertson retiring?

never seen a whole episode, but is the kid even in the show really?

He's not wrong. I can't understand why it still gets such high ratings. It went in the toilet after the first few seasons.

If he's telling others not to watch the show, then he should flat-out resign...no matter the financial consequences he may potentially suffer.

Otherwise, it's a hypocritical proposition.....pure and simple.

I'd be a hypocrite for a lot less than $350K. Just sayin'.

thats silly, you can be a non smoker and work at a cigarette factory....especially for 8 MILLION DOLLARS A YEAR

Sure, but if you go to the extent of telling people to not purchase the cigarettes from the company you work for, then that becomes somewhat problematic to me. At that point, it's more of an integrity issue.

But, that's just me. :innocent:

that just sounds so bourgeois abm

very few are afforded the luxury of a clear conscience or idealistic principles when feeding their family is involved, and for you to judge someone for that isnt very christian imo

Totally apples to oranges here, man. Obviously, the kid has a clear message to all of the folks that might watch, or potentially watch, the show he performs in:

"I'm on 'Two and a Half Men,' and I don't want to be on it. Please stop watching it. Please stop filling your head with filth. Please. People say it's just entertainment ... do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you'll have a decision to make when it comes to the television and especially with what you watch on television," he continued. "It's bad news. I don't know if it means anymore coming from me, but you might not have heard it otherwise."

Jones then references "the enemy's" deception, presumably meaning Satan, and assuring listeners that "there's no playing around when it comes to eternity."

He notes at one point in the video that he doesn't want to contribute "to the enemy's plan," and that people may view actors like himself and think, "Oh, I can be a Christian and be on a show like 'Two and a Half Men.' You can't. You can not be a true God-fearing person and be on a television show like that. I know I can't. I'm not OK with what I'm learning, what the Bible says, and being on that television show. You go all or nothing."

OK, so I'm judging him by essentially agreeing with him??

you quoted my cigarette analogy, i thought thats what you were referring to

if we are still talking about the spoiled brat that hates his rich mommy, yeah, feel free to judge

Angus T. Jones - Embracing Homophobic, Anti-Obama, Doomsday Theorist

Jay-Z is a freemason with a Satanic agenda ... in fact, he's executing a plan concocted by Lucifer himself, at least according to the man who is serving as a spiritual guide to "Two and a Half Men" star Angus T. Jones.

The man behind the theory is Christopher Hudson -- who is featured with Jones in the "testimonial" video where Angus trashes "Men" as "filth" that goes against his newfound religious ideology.

In the video, Jones says he discovered Hudson through his ForeRunner Chronicles video series -- in which Hudson spouts off about a variety of topics ... including:

-- Why he believes Jay-Z is a Freemason with ties to the devil
-- How Obama's pro-gay agenda has similarities to Hitler
-- How the NYC gas crisis can lead to cannibalism

In fact, Hudson warned his followers that the gas crisis can turn into a food crisis, forcing women to begin cannibalizing their own children -- "Your baby might start looking like a chicken wing."
