What with the latest whiny bitch tweetstorm of our "president elect" where he makes up patent bullshit about a fantasy land where he won the popular vote (and then, as is common with all urban legends, names actual states where there was "rampant illegal voting" so it sounds like there must be something there), it must be kind of nice to be someone who sees that and thinks "yes - all is good! The country is finally in safe hands!" rather than "Jesus Christ! How long after this guy gets his hands on drones and nuclear weapons before this insane narcissist starts a fucking war?"

Of course, Trump voters are going to be just as fucked as the rest of us (a lot of 'em worse, the ones who rely on Obamacare, for example) but probably they'll interpret their incipient fiery death as Trump kindly shepherding them into Heaven.

Kinda wish I was a Clinton voter so I could whine and cry and bitch and moan and complain and overreact and cry some more until the end of time.

Words will be created to describe the kind of mass hysteria that has set upon the snowflakes and crybullies.

At least if they're right the end of time as we know it isn't too far away.

It's kind of brilliant in a way. If the next election goes against him, maybe he can just point to a "long running pattern of voter fraud" and just invalidate the next election and refuse to step aside?

Very glad that I'm neither a Trump nor a Clinton voter.

At least I'll accept the little bit of blame I can get for it. He lost Nevada, so in the long run it isn't my fault either way. Thanks again to all the Californians that are moving here every day.

It sucks because I really don't like Trump.... and it sure doesn't look very promising with the people he's picking for his cabinet...... but my god are the Hillary voters annoying as fuck right now.

First, they accuse anyone who disagrees with them of voting for Trump. I swear they like that Trump won because it gives them the right (in their mind) to call anyone who voted for him a racist, bigoted, misogynist.

Second, the protests and the crying on facebook and what have they accomplished? Nothing. They're not being proactive at all. It's just hand wringing and crying. I don't even want to go on facebook anymore.

And then there's the straight up hypocrisy, because Hillary is completely corrupt and would sell her own daughter if it got her the White House.

Because, the notion of politicians lying to us on the regular is completely new and originated with the Trump campaign...
If a goddamn movie director doesn't speak to your soul you must be a weird dude.

That and a guy who apparently writes psychobabble and sells it to Fortune 500 companies are making me think we need a redo.

BBC Article on it:

No evidence for Trump claim, says BBC's Anthony Zurcher

It's a classic Donald Trump move. Take an accusation, and turn it on an accuser. His opponents want a recount in states he won? Then he'll allege massive voter fraud in states carried by Hillary Clinton.

There is, of course, no evidence of the "millions" of illegal votes that Mr Trump says were cast for Democrats. If there were, it would merit a full investigation and not a series of Sunday-morning tweets from the president-elect. The veracity of these accusations seems of little import to Mr Trump.

What matters is that by going on the offensive, he turns a story about the legitimacy of his narrow wins in key states into a muddled mess. As he has done in the past, he raises the volume in hopes of drowning out a negative story.

The irony is that, in this case, it seems a pointless undertaking. The Green Party-funded recounts will almost certainly fail to reveal electoral malfeasance. Mr Trump could have let them proceed without comment and avoided any controversy.

Then again, for this president-elect, controversy is like water to a fish. It surrounds and sustains him. Perhaps he can't function without it.

In case people are unfamiliar with the BBC - this (the bolded stuff - my emphasis) is NOT the kind of language they have ever used about US Presidents in the past. Sign of what a joke Trump is turning the presidency into.

I mean, a sign of his bold iconoclasm.

Nice whiny emotional argument about nothing. You're worried about his TWEETS? Grow up.

"yes - all is good! The country is finally in safe hands!" rather than "Jesus Christ! How long after this guy gets his hands on drones and nuclear weapons before this insane narcissist starts a fucking war?"

Or....and I know this is a foreign concept to those who don't like the guy....the third option is to ignore the media, ignore his Tweets, and wait and see what he's going to do.

Thinking that anyone in his administration is going to let him set off a nuke or get us involved in a war because he's a douchebag on Twitter is a fucking moron on a level that only a Leftist or a Liberal could go to.

We know who Bob Woodward is...

http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/bob-woodward-excessive-rhetoric-feeding-trump

“I think it's got to be said this is not just about Trump,” Woodward said in an appearance on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” “A lot of the people who really are opposed to Trump, I think, are engaged in some excessive rhetoric also.”

LOL

The people opposed to Trump are, by and large, not going to be President in a few weeks. So there's a bit of a difference.

More Woodward.

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-...odward-clinton-foundation-corrupt-its-scandal

CHRIS WALLACE, FOX NEWS SUNDAY: Then there are the allegations about the Clinton Foundation and pay to play, which I asked Secretary Clinton about in the debate, and she turned into an attack on the Trump Foundation.

But, Bob, I want to go back to the conversation I was having with Robby Mook before. When -- when you see what seems to be clear evidence that Clinton Foundation donors were being treated differently than non-donors in terms of access, when you see this new -- new revelations about the $12 million deal between Hillary Clinton, the foundation, and the king of Morocco, are voters right to be troubled by this?

BOB WOODWARD, THE WASHINGTON POST: I -- yes, it's a -- it’s corrupt. It's -- it’s a scandal. And she didn't answer your question at all. And she turned to embrace the good work that the Clinton Foundation has done. And she has a case there. But the mixing of speech fees, the Clinton Foundation, and actions by the State Department, which she ran, are all intertwined and it's corrupt. You know, I mean, you can't just say it's unsavory. But there's no formal investigation going on now, and there are outs that they have.
