Dude, as you well know, I flick you great amounts of crap in these parts. That said, however, I wanted to let you know that I really sympathize with the health fights you are battling. I read those accounts of your ongoing struggles in amazement. I wouldn't wish that on anyone!

Anyway, just wanted you to know that I'm pulling for you....and that, upon reading all that stuff, I can now understand why you get the way that you do. ;)

I just looked you up on IMDB out of curiosity. Hadn't realized you'd appeared as a delivery person on Curb Your Enthusiasm. Dang. Lucky dog.

Thumbs up. I always supported KS. I was wondering though if ABM can understand why I get the way I do?:dunno: Of course I did go to highschool in the sixties and I am half Norwegian.

Just gave me the idea to do the same. Look at this from his messageboard:

Honestly, I think it's because the guy is a jerk. I was on a Hawaii-to-Los Angeles flight with him and all he did was annoy the stewardesses and everyone else around him with his constant bit*hing and whining. From my 5 to 6 hours with him, I got the impression that the guy would be very difficult to work with. The reason I think he was written off the show was because I think he may have alienated himself from the cast and crew. When his character went off to the military, I think that was a way to kind of test out the waters before actually pulling the plug on his character. Personally, I liked his character and I'm glad they didn't kill him off. For the cast and crew, I'm sure having him in an episode or two in future seasons is much better than having to work with him on a daily basis. It's a shame that his true character isn't as likeable as his on-screen character.

While on the flight... To me, he was the cool character from Bones... To everyone else, he was the annoying gay guy in the back of the plane.

That doesn't seem like the "appreciation thread". Imagine how each of us would look if there was a message board devoted to our individual behaviors on a daily basis... I've been an ass in public plenty of times, there just wasn't a message board to write about me.

I wish there was a message board dedicated to me. I would read that shit 24/7.

It's sad that the thread got directed towards criticism of one of our posters. I can imagine someone seeing me on one of my " much less than perfect" days, and evaluating my character online.:tsktsk: Personal attacks.................it's been happening a lot lately. I think we need a sticky thread for that so we don't keep changing all the thread topics.:drumroll:
 
I have had the pleasure of meeting Eric and catching up with him around the country 4 or 5 times. He was nothing but very cool and down to earth to me. He is a bigtime Blazer fan and just has a very special way of showing said fandom! He is def a cool guy!
 
He's cool. But sometimes I seriously can't tell if he's being sarcastic or being serious.
 
I'm usually good at detecting sarcasm. Eric is the only one that has ever stumped me.
 
The most shocking thing I learned about Eric from his IMDB page is the dude is 35 years old. Holy crap, he looks at least 10-years younger. Being blessed with a youthful appearance if definitely an asset in his line of work.

I enjoy reading King's posts. Love him or hate him, you have to admire his passion for the Blazers' and the game in general.

+1, i really dont see why people get on edge from him.

even the oden sucks, season over stuff, just kinda makes me chuckle.
 
Would someone PM the guy and tell him this thread exists?

Imagine going through life and dying and never knowing about your appreciation thread many years earlier.

I have no idea what was up with that. Yes, I went to Hawaii but I never bitched or whined to anyone. So weird. Not sure what impelled that person to type that. I wonder what I did...
