Kerry Kittles missed practice while seeking a second opinion on the right knee that he tweaked during Tuesday morning's shoot-around. Kittles played 32 minutes in the 103-98 loss to the Bucks, but had to sit out the fourth quarter. "He was done," Nets coach Lawrence Frank said yesterday. "After the third quarter he couldn't play any more."
The shooting guard, who has had four surgeries on that right knee, including one that caused him to miss the entire 2000-01 season, has not missed a game all season. "We'll wait and see what the doctor has to say," Frank said. "Kerry is very, very intent ... he wants to play every single game. But at the same time, we have to make sure, obviously, (to look) at his health. That's the priority."
