Sprained ankle means he will probably miss the game with the Blazers next Tuesday.

(When) we clinch the division, I'm hoping our team will start coming down with similar "injuries."

Edit: just FYI, Klay rolled his ankle in the third quarter, went into the locker room to get it re-taped, and came back in the fourth to play 35 minutes on the night. This absolutely HAS to be Kerr resting his player for the playoffs. It's gamesmanship, and I wish Terry would do this. Abandon the chase for HCA unless it's easily in reach.

I don't think it was fake. He twisted it pretty good in last night's game. As far as the Blazers go, there's too much competition behind them for Stotts to decide to just sit guys. Besides, getting these guys to consistently play like the Toronto game instead of the first half of the Wizards game has to be more on his mind at this point than getting extra rest.

I disagree, I want us to win as many games as possible to pass MEM for the 2 seed to secure HCA in both the first and second (and possibly 3rd and 4th) rounds.

Just saw the Ibaka injury on twitter (out 4-6 wks) with a knee issue. Think that's a bit more impactful for the final stretch

Definitely some validity to this chemistry and familiarity thing, but I just don't like Dame/Nic/LA playing 35+ mins on back to backs. There is some truth to schedule losses, and enough sample size around the league to suggest resting players on particular nights can avoid injuries. After Wes went down (on a second night of a b2b, in a long stretch of games), it has to give Terry some pause, no?

If Durant comes back soon, it won't matter too much. Otherwise, the Thunder may be sitting on the sidelines when the playoffs start.

This sucks, I've had to wait all season long for a chance to beat the Warriors at full strength. I guess it's fair since we're without Wes?

Are you serious? We want the 2 seed so that we have HCA in second round. We're not gonna win four straight series on the road in the playoffs.
