What makes Nate a dirty player? And Nate doing fancy plays doesn't make him a sore loser or a thug.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Jared Jeffries: Very tough dirty player, always commiting hard and dangerous fouls. He was another instigator in the Denver brawl. </div>
What are you talking about? And he isn't a dirty player either.

So this means Curry is a thug? And Curry doesn't complain any more than your average NBA player.

His only "hard stupid" foul was against the Nuggets. If you want to consider him dirty for that, tell me how he is a thug?

He told Melo not to go to the basket because he was not going to allow any easy buckets. This makes Isiah a thug?

That's b.s. you said "just to name a few" because you couldn't think of any other players that were involved in the brawl. I said name every player who is a thug and sore loser on the Knicks.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Alot of stupid stuff has gone down in the New York Stadium. The Knicks have got many many cheap victories at home (Almost like they paid the refs). If I was going to take a guess, I would say the Knicks assed their way out of 20 games this year at the buzzer. Just to name a few cheap Knick victories which they should not have won......

Yes, they did review it.

Did you actually count to 0.5 seconds?

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">
Milwaukee Bucks vs Knicks, Bogut fouls Frye as time expires: The game was heading into overtime, Eddy Curry is holding Bogut by the wrist so he cannot get the rebound. Bogut touches Frye on the shoulder to keep himself balanced, time runs out and the game should of headed into overtime. The Refs just completley ignore that Curry was holding Boguts wrist, and reset the time and let Frye shoot 2 free throws.

Bogut prevents Frye from jumping to try and maintain balance?

These are just 2 out of about 15 really really stupid calls which have happened at New Yorks home. I am beggining to wonder what shifty buisness is going on down there.

Your speaking as if you watch the Knicks regularl so tell me ALL 15 of the Knicks victories which they got from really stupid calls. Do you mean like the missed goaltend against the Magic? Or Crawford getting fouled towards the end of regulation at Utah? How about that foul on Iguodala when Marbury was shooting the GW three-pointer?

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Now can you see why I hate the Knicks so much?</div>
I don't care if you hate the Knicks. Just speak factual.

I agree with MrJ. If you don't watch the Knicks regularly, don't start assuming things.

Just because Mardy Collins fouled hard in the Denver game doesn't mean he's a dirty player, thug or even that he fouls "hard and stupid" a lot.

Nate Robinson trying to do fancy plays is something that nearly ever single player in the league tries to do. If you were in the NBA and had a chance to be shown on SportsCenter time and time again after the game, would you go for it? Probably. That doesn't make him a sore loser or a thug. Can you prove that he always tries to start fights (same goes for Francis)? Do you have some YouTube clips to show us as proof? And I don't mean one, I mean a few, since they "always try to fight", right?

As MrJ said, Curry is just like the average NBA player in terms of complaining from what I've seen.

Isiah doesn't whine and complain more than any other coach. Why do you consider him a pathetic man? He's a guy who has accomplished more in 20 years (career wise) than you probably will in 60 (not a personal attack or anything, but he's just a succesful guy and has accomplished more than a lot of men dream of accomplishing in their career).

The crap you're saying about the Knicks paying the refs is just pathetic. The refs have proven to be terrible this season, you can bring up TONS of incidents in which they made mistakes, against/for any team in the league. As MrJ said, try bringing up the 20 cheap victories they had at home.

Oh, and just to expand your general knowledge of the game (which seems limited), it's "Madison Square Garden", not "New York Stadium". It's not even a stadium, it's an arena. Try to remember that when somebody asks you which is the most famous basketball arena in the world.

<div class="quote_poster">MrJ Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Is this Umair or Pakman?

Why is Francis' opinion of what happened an indication of how all 15 players on the Knicks feel? That's like making a judgement on the Kings based on what Ron Artest says/does.

I'm also not disputing the "if you lose, you lose" notion either. I said that in my first post in this thread. But there has been no evidence from either team as to why the potential "fight" started. You're just assuming it was started by the Knicks.</div>

Okay, at first it was ... Nate .. now its Francis. Their attitude reflects the team, unfortunately. When the news comes to the media .. its not "francis & nate trying to start a fight" ... i mean if its one player like artest .. i understand. But in this situation, its more than one, and just like I said .. even the title says "Knicks accused or running up the score (again)" .. more than one person .. it gives the TEAM a bad name. And btw, its Pakman .. why were u asking?

And obviously, yes .. i am assuming it was started by the Knicks because they were the ones gettin beatin up on the scoreboard, not the other team.

Where did Nate come in?

One player's opinion does not reflect the team... not even two. You said, the "Knicks" are sore losers, which means most, if not all, believe the score was "ran up", if you will. The title is a bit misleading, but it was basically Francis' opinion. The first time the Knicks (Isiah) accused a team of running up the score was during the brawl.

And Umair has a deleted post in this thread which is <u>exactly</u> what you wrote...

LOL!!!! WTF?

The issue has been resolved.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The conflict is officially over. Chicago Bulls coach Scott Skiles has settled the grudge that resulted from a recent contest in which his team was accused of running up the score over a beaten New York Knicks team in order to win the fans a promotional McDonald's 'Big Mac.'

“I felt just terrible over that game,” said coach Skiles (referring to a 98-69 romp over the New York Knicks over a week back). “I wanted to do something for the guys to try to make amends, something meaningful. That is why I thought it would be appropriate to take the whole Knicks’ team out to enjoy a McDonald's value meal of their choice, supersizing optional.”

The Knicks seemed grateful about the gesture with many praising Skiles for his offer.

“I had a supersized double quarter pounder meal and still felt a little hungry.” explained Knicks center Eddy Curry. “I asked Coach Skiles if I could also get a 20-piece order of Chicken McNuggets and he said it was no problem at all. A true gentleman of the game!”

Guard Nate Robinson was cynical at first, some would even say surly. “I’m a Wendy’s guy myself. I also didn’t like the fact that he was taking us to the very restaurant that started this whole feud. My first instinct was to punch him (Skiles) but after I sank my teeth into that first Big Mac, I just sorta lost interest.”

Isiah Thomas was very happy. “Coach Skiles is such a warm-friendly and compassionate guy. At first I was upset with him for the mean things he did to us. But when I saw him drive up in the party-limo to take us to McDonalds, my heart just leapt. How could I stay mad at such a handsome rival?”

The only Knick player not in attendance was sophomore heartthrob David Lee. The “Toast of Manhattan” was reported to have a life and was currently out on the town.</div>

Since we both use the same computer, sometimes one of our names gets logged in. So when we accidently post from each others names, we have to obviously delete it. Sorry for the confusion.

The Knicks are just bad.... they should not suck if they don't want to get embarrassed....
