Knicks-Cavs-Warriors Trade?

Well, Snow isn't going to come to us cheap. I like the defensive presence Snow brings to the backcourt, but is he really worth it?

It depends on who, the Knicks give up in the trade. If the Knicks can trade Malik Rose or Mo Taylor to acquire Snow, I think they should pull the trigger on the deal. I'm not sure if the Warriors or Cavs would be willing to take Rose or Taylor, but the Knicks shouldn't settle for anything less.

There are other options for the Knicks including Aaron McKie or Gary Payton. The Knicks still have the option to play Marbury at PG, which isn't terrible.

I'd like to see if Larry Brown could get Jamal Crawford to buying into playing defense for once in his life. Crawford has the athleticism, and size to be a lockdown defender. If LB can motivate him to commit to learning how to defend and take some pride in it, Crawford could be the answer to the big guard LB likes using at PG.

I wouldn't want to unload Taylor because of his contract nor Rose because I like his game. Although he does have a bloated contract, I don't think it's worth Snow's. Rose will be more valuable to us than Snow will be. I think at the end of the day, we'll wind up seeing Crawford playing the point. Just like shape said, he has all the tools to become a great defender (especially at point guard) because he'll usually have to deal with smaller guys, has a nice wingspan, and his overall athleticism. It's all about effort for him and if Brown could get defense across to him and Marbury, we can expect a much improved Knicks team. I wonder what will happen if we get Snow and both of them improve their defense? What will Snow be worth then?

Anybody think the Cavs would bite on Foyle? They don't have a backup center as of now, correct? But let's imagine the Cavs want him for some reason.

I know Mr J. doesn't want to give up Taylor because of the contract, but they have two other expiring deals and Taylor's is only worth a 9 mil and only theoretically be more valuable with a trade exception, but I think TT's, Houston's and Penny's expiring deals are more valuable. If the Knicks want Larry Brown to make a difference, I guess he has to have his way and make Stephon Marbury a 2 guard. Giving up Taylor shouldn't take away from anything. Cleveland is really the team that has to want to make this happen because the Warriors don't really have to do anything.
