It would get the Knicks back to the 15-player roster limit and save them Balkman's $1.32 million against the salary cap.</div>

Well, this would be a nice deal for the Nuggets. Balkman could turn out to be a nice "replacement" for Najera, I guess.

As for the Knicks, they choose to move Balkman for crap to remove a player and capspace? uuuh

I didnt like the trade either for the Knicks, but obviously some huge savings were to be had with this trade.

I know getting rid of Rose,James or Jeffries would have been better, but close to impossible if you really think about it after all the time Rose and James especially have been rotting on the bench.
