Dang! Im watching it on ESPN News, and ima bout to switch to NBA TV, this is when we need YOUTUBE!!

It seemed like Melo's shot was totally after the real fighting started; was that just because of the ESPN edit, or did he really hit Collins that late?

Now that I saw it, Melo was back tracking like his life depended on it. Come on dude.

HOLY SH!T!
Nate Robinson is grabbing JR, then he pushes him hard, then Nate hits some guy on the Nuggets, Then smith jumps him and nate pushes him into the second row of stands DAMN HES TOUGH!

Then Nate gets in the way either too hit Carmelo, to stop him from runnin, or to stop the fight, not sure

nate was handling jr. if they were on the street nate would've got in that ass. he was throwing jr around like Zo vs Vangundee

I guess I'm not a real fan then. 39 people viewing this thread.

I just saw it on ESPN, Carmelo's a punk-ass for punching Mardy Collins like that and running away like a punk-beeatch.

He doesn't play that much anyways, so should they really suspended him

J/P, I think he did the right thing because the Nuggets shouldn't of had all those starters in so late in the game.....

Jr rushed Nate and nate ended up on top. That wouldve been an ass whooping. If they didnt snatch nate off of Smith Nate would still be bitch smacking him right now. watch the footage. If you have ever been in a street fight you know if you end up on ur back your gonna get punched in the face with no mercy.

oh s**t

apparently the knicks knew Collins would do that hard foul.
and Isaiah was upset that Camby and Carmelo were still out there in a blowout.
so implying that Isaiah told Collins to foul hard and send a message.....

What were some of Zeke's comments in his press conference?

Melo is a Bitch at Heart. Why sucker punch the guy? When he poped him he shouldve only taken 1 step back. when you jog back like a coward your running from an ass whooping.

Go Bulls !!!! they won 106 104 in OT.

to be honest, he didnt' seem too surprised by the turn of events and didn't have much to say. Didn't criticize his players. It's very possible he told Collins to send a message. That's part of Isaiah's persona. George Karl looked pretty moved by the events and it was in contrast to Zeke's reaction

ugh.gif
@ Zeke complaining about starters in late in the game. That guy is friggin crazy

Honestly, I could totally see Isiah telling a young player to go out and do that. It's the kind of stupidness he'd do while he played with the Pistons. I was tempted to put a lot of blame on Collins for making such a blatant attempt at JR, but if Isiah told him then he should be getting the majority of it.

I don't understand what Nate Robinson was doing. He started out trying to seperate them, but then, once they're reasonably seperated he puts up his fists like a dumbass.

Melo did a punk move right there. Reminded me of that Wizards player who ran away from Antonio Davis a few seasons ago. He's lucky he was out of reach too, because Jared Jeffries looked like a man possessed.

The funny thing is that these fight have been going on since the 80's. Now Stern wants to make them a big deal. Honestly that type of foul coulve caused a serious neck injury. If im playing ball on the street or organized ball and you grab my neck on the way up I'm beating your ass......Point blank!
