Wow, Nate Robinson really needs to calm the fu*k down. Whoever says that Nate didn't get owned by Smith is lying to themselves. I just saw the video on the ESPN website and Smith absolutely murdered Nate with that tackle. The reason Nate was "on top" was because Smith flung him into the stands and Nate went flying.

I think the fight was totally unnecessary, and I don't care what flack I get for this but Nate deserved to be tackled with the way he was acting. Why the fu*k would you put your fists up? He wasn't trying to speerate the fight at all.

'Melo knocked Collins pretty bad and yeah he backpeddled pretty fast. However, I think Jared Jefferies wanted to kill Melo or something, dude looked posessed.

Yeah the foul is the big deal. but not the retaliation.

I bet he would not have fouled shaq or ben like that. If you let 1 guy foul you like that then the next guy isnt going to hesitate to foul you even harder. Lets see stern go out there play hard to beat the hell out of a team then get a hard cheap foul on him in garbage time then just walk away.

lmao, god I hate Nate Robinson, why's gotta try and be so ghetto all the time? It probally wouldnt have got as bad as it did if he had of stayed out and shut his mouth.

Wasnt as bad as our brawl with the Pacers, but it was entertaining none the less.

I have to say I lost a lot of respect towards Carmelo. I would of expected better from him. Just disgusting.

Are you kidding me? I would take Smith over Nate in a fight anyday. Not only is he taller then him, but he also is stronger and weighs heavier as well. And for anyone who says Nate is a headcase, it's not like JR Smith isn't one either.

Nate didn't do anything in that video that's wortht of praise or saying that he owned anyone. He started the fight, and when JR tackled him, Nate landed on top of him because JR lost balance in the act. However, Nate deserved to get his ass kicked. I don't know where the "Camby punched him" comments came from, only smith and Melo actually threw punches from what I saw.
 
On the real Nate looked like the type of guy that can't fight at all, but act like he tough because of the people around him. For the most part all he did was throw his fists up and jump up and down. Jr Smith messed him up, and would have pretty much owned Nate if that fight kept going.
 
And this brawl gives me another reason to hate Nate Robinson.

Same here, and I have lost respect for Nate Robinson also. This is the reason why David Stern keeps making new rules.

Did you even see the same fight I saw? Like GF said, Nate did nothing but put his fists up and jump up and down during the whole thing. JR Smith TACKLED him, and lost his balance in the act, therefore Nate landed on top of him. After that, 50 other people came in and seperated them.

Nate was held back and while being held back he proceeded to just jump up and down. Then when Melo punched Collins and backpeddaled towards center court, Nate ran to the center court and once again just put his fists up and jumped up and down with no one around him.

I find it laughable that you're actually defending Nate Robinson.

i blame nate robinson for escalating the situation when it seemed like jr smith and collins were separated. but carmelo anthony and jr smith just proved how immature both of them are, particularly melo who sucker punched collins but ran like the bitch he is when jarred jefferies and nate robinson (all 5 foot 7 of him) went after him. he should have stayed at mid-court and manned up for his actions, instead he proved just how fugazy (fake tough guy), little wuss he is. i wish oakley and anthony mason were still on the knicks.

memo to melo: make another dvd with your boyz and advocate sucker punching people and running away afterwards. and j.r. smith: get your G.E.D and stop butchering the english language every time u speak.

Melo didn't run away from Nate. If you watch the clip, Nate is on one side of the court by him self and runs towards the scene and just puts his fists up. Holy sh*t I really hate Nate Robinson, dude just pisses the hell out of me.

I happened to be surfing through the channels and landed on this piece of magic like 2 seconds before it all went down. Listing to the commentators on the MSG network I was surprised they didn't stick up for the Knick's players at all. They criticized Collin's right away (his second game straight with a flagrant foul?) and just said this whole thing was unnecessary (I agree).

This would NEVER happen to teams such as the Spurs, Lakers, Suns, Jazz, Magic.

don't look at the you tube clip, see the espn one and u can that melo runs and camby even tried to keep him there, but he pushes camby's hand away and runs to his own bench where nene and the others nuggets are. when nate approached him- nate squared up, in an almost a non-verbal invitation to fight stance if u will but melo kept on retreating.
 
What a coward Carmelo Anthony is.

Throws a cheapshot, then runs away like the little bitch he is.

I don't have a problem with a fight, but men fight toe to toe, they don't throw cheapies and then back away.

He could average 40 this year, but nothing will change the fact that he's a cowardly, cheap little bitch.
 
After watching the whole footage about 80 times LOL. I agree that this thing was the fault on Nate robinson. nate is the guy who threw the beer in detroit.

I'm most disappointed in Melo. Why does he have to thug out after it was broken up? He's an idiot for doing that. All the money he makes. Look at the repercussions of this for Denver ticket-holders and the Denver organization that pay him big money to be their franchise. If I was Denver's GM, I'd start thinking about shipping this guy out if he's going put some stupid "rep", which is ridiculous cause he's not on the streets, he's a high-net-worth individual now, over the organization.,
 
On another note i watched the highlight package on NBA TV and this fight somehow got lost when they cut the hilights ... completely accidental i'm sure

it wasn't entertaining at all because they endangered the lives of those people in the gucci seats and in a situation like that were there are so many people on the court, it could be very dangerous for someone to get caught with a wild punch (i.e. collins). although, i will say that if i was a knick- i would have murdered melo if he sucker punched a teammate of mine.
