The New York Knicks plan to sign guard Jimmer Fredette with their open roster spot, league sources told ESPN.
Barring something unforeseen, Fredette will be with the Knicks early next week, league sources said.
Fredette, a former lottery pick, has played this season with the Knicks' D-League team, the Westchester Knicks. He's averaged 22.3 points and 4.8 assists in 28 games.
