<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Most expect the Heat to be that team because Mourning wants badly to return to Miami. But word is the Heat front office staff does not want to add Mourning because the team already knows what it feels like to lose him because of health reasons, and the possibility of that happening again bothers the staff. Plus, the Heat's frontcourt reserves, particularly Christian Laettner, have been playing especially well of late, which has Stan Van Gundy and O'Neal praising the group.
Ideally, the Heat would prefer to snatch Karl Malone from his most likely suitor, San Antonio, leaving no reason for the team to add Mourning. The Raptors continue to speak with the Knicks about possible trades, and New York is one team Mourning might be willing to play for.</div>

The Knicks and Raptors are apparently in talks with Alonzo Mourning. Unless we're signing him, I don't want any trades. Unless its for Sundov or someone. The Knicks are on a 3 game winninf streak, and won 3 of their last 4 games. I do not think a big trade involving won of our starters or key role players, should take place. Nazr has been playing great at the C spot so far, and although Mourning is an experienced veteran C, his health is still an issue. I don't know how long those kidneys can hold up. I think we are better off staying with what we have. Tampering with chemistry is something we really don't need so let's just stick with our team that we have now. Let's see how we really play. If Nazr doesn't hold up and we really need a C then we can look at it but, unless it is for money we shouldn't trade our players for him.
