17 points, 4 euro-assists (i.e., worth about 1.5 NBA assists each), 4 steals.

I was wondering if, if Blake's injury turns out to linger, we could get Koponen mid-season. I didn't think that was possible until Oklahoma got Krstic a few weeks ago. I wouldn't say no to waiving Shavlik for that.

Isn't this Petteri on the right?

I guess we could but he wouldn't get off the pine, Nate rarely plays 3 PGs a night. Anyone else notice that Koponen seems to be filling out a bit?

Agreed, but if Sergio goes down at the moment we are really screwed. Plus I'm kind of interested to see if Peteri's height would help him in feeding the post. Shaq always said Brian Shaw threw the best entry passes.

No reason to waste a year of Pete's rookie scale. Better to just pick up someone from the Dev League to be the third PG.

Ed O.

yup, and he would likely be overmatched if we tried to plug him in mid-season anyway.

lol kop is very goofy looking. anyone know his age? i bet he'll be on the team next year as the third pg

bayless start, serg off the bench. kop 3rd string. i like it

I sort of agree but I would guess it would be Bayless starting, Blake backup and Koponen our 3rd pg.

The Euro-leagues are weird. You will have guys who can be stars over here come off the bench over there. Jennings if I recall correctly didn't play all that well there. And vice-versa. Guys who look like stars there but flame out here. Freeland might be the example for this one (although I think he will continue to improve - I have hope for him yet).
