If we draft two guys this summer, guess how many rookies we'll have.

That's right: 2.

Why? Because Rudy, Batum, Oden, and Bayless WON'T BE ROOKIES ANYMORE.

So really, we'll have FEWER rookies, not more. It's not like those four will be rookies forever.

Get a fucking grip, Pop.

It still moves the window down another year, whether they are rookies or not.

"We value our guys maybe too much. I'll admit that."

That's a good sign.

KP admits he probably overvalues the guys on the roster.

No s**t.

It still moves the window down another year, whether they are rookies or not.

Not really, no. The window is the same as it was at the beginning of this year (I mean really, we draft two guys a year every year). It just didn't move *up*, which is what you guys wanted.

Come on, the last thing we need as a team are more rookies.

The team had an idea of standing pat since the beginning of today.

KP didn't want to give up players when they don't know what their upside is. There's too much potential here, and he doesnt' want to give up on them.

The goal now is to simply make the playoffs, and believes the RG crowd will bring the team farther than people think.

Interview over.

We've been terrible on defense for the whole season.

Indeed. And great on offense and rebounding for the whole season. The combination of all these factors is the fourth-best record in the West.

"I love our guys, these are my guys."

Same old rehashed bullshit. He has a love affair with this roster. Grow a pair you fucking punk.

They've been together for half a year and they didn't want to give up on these guys before they knew what they had.

I find it laughable that anyone would claim KP doesn't have a pair when it comes to making moves... Are you f'ing kidding me?

In case everyone else is too pi$$ed off to say it, thanks for the recaps, guys.

Pritchard a couple minutes from joining 1080 The Fan. Normally I don't listen to these blowhards, but I'll tune in for KP.

Good argument. I guess you're just blowing off frustration. I'll leave you to it.

Do you honestly believe we have an efficient offense? Don't give me the numbers crap, tell me what you see.

Morons on The Fan are talking about baseball. Nice work, douches.

-Pop

I can see the rubes are out in full force.

What's funny about that? This team is on pace for 50 wins and home court advantage in the 1st round of the playoffs.

Most of you are too impatient and/or too unrealistic.

We would have made a deal if it made the team better now AND in the future. Evidently, that deal wasn't out there or Pritchard would have pulled the trigger.

Bake him!

Do you honestly believe we have an efficient offense? Don't give me the numbers crap, tell me what you see.

Why are the numbers crap? Humans are incredibly bad about judging efficiency with just their eyes. I see a team that is extremely talented and their offense varies, but the average seems good. Which the numbers verify. I'd love to remove some of the variance (and stabilize at a high level), but I don't see any reason why that variance hurts the team over a long stretch like the regular season.

In the playoffs, that variance could either help them or hurt them. Depending on whether they are hot or cold from the perimeter.
