Interesting development. I always thought he would be in the trade for the center we look to get whether it be eichel, Larkin or whomever. Didn’t like that he bailed on the team last year. Unlike Anderson this kid does have talent just no room at the time. Was thinking rangers building up gauthier value to trade him and kravtsov would slide into that spot but now with the kid asking for a trade and the rangers telling him to go ahead I think that bridge may be burned

I am disappointed. I think Kravtsov is very talented and deserves to be with the big club. I think it is a failure on Drury's part. Hajek should have been traded. There is no room for him if they are going to keep Tinordi and Nemeth. I would rather see Kravtsov here than Hajek. I had high hopes for Kravtsov.

Kravtsov is not that talented and absolutely doesn't deserve to be with the big club. He's not a center. Can't win faceoffs. Doesn't hit anybody. He's soft. He's average defensively. He did nothing that stood out. Thank God his euro pussy ass will be out of here.

Have a feeling the offers will be underwhelming and Drury will tell him no deal and either go back to the ahl which I think is what happens eventually. Kid has absolutely no leverage at this time. Not ready to help them and needs the seeasonjng.

I agree mrmel29. I think Rangers sending a message that if you want to try, go ahead. I disagree with dump. I usually agree with dump, but on Kravtsov I disagreed from the beginning. I think Kravtsov is very talented and if it wasn't for LFA and Kakko, he would be in the top 6 now. I think he will be a star in NHL.

He will never be a star his attitude sucks. This is the second time he’s pulled this shit but the first time he just decided to go back to Russia. Barron does so many things better than him and he’s not sulking about going to the AHL. Lias played with an edge and when he requested a trade people trashed him beyond belief. Yet our Russian loving fuckface fan base loves to give Russians a pass all the time

In the last preseason game when the Islanders tried to goon it up and get rough, Blais was laughing at them. That’s the type of guys you need not a pussy like Crapsov.

They have different roles dump. I don't like Russian players, I am with you there. I think Kravtsov is better than Buch, but I have to agree that his attitude does suck. I mean he is 21, not like he is 23. I feel bad for Jones and Barron, they are ready but your point is a good one. Neither one of them is sulking. Plus Gothier needs a shot on the 3rd line. I am sure if Gauthier does not play well, he will be sent down or waived.

Unless they get a 1st or he's part of a bigger trade then i tell him no dice, go play in the KHL or get back over here and stop with this nonsense. I'm not giving a high upside top 10 pick away. Andersson was a different story and getting a 3rd was fair value and maybe a steal looking back. I like Gauthier but he hasn't scored more than a goal since getting here and has less upside then Kravtsov.

Add one more to the long list of Rangers first round draft pick busts. It's one thing to stockpile draft picks to build a farm system but for christ's sake if they keep drafting head-cases what's the point?
There wasn't a spot on the Rangers for him this year. He's not a 4th/4rd line style of player by any means and he's the type of player who should be playing as much as possible. I wouldn't sacrifice any of the top 2 line wingers' spot for him and I think a third line rotation with Gauthier wouldn't do him or the Rangers much good.
This situation does take away some leverage/trade value though which sucks.

Kings might be a good spot for the russian moron but this time it’s gonna cost a good prospect. Kupari and a 2nd

For Gallant to say Hunt earned a spot over Krav when he didn't show much of anything i don't get. It's not like anyone is going to claim him on waivers. If Gauthier doesn't put up points then they should put Kravtsov back in there if they can mend fences. That said, Krav still has some maturity issues if he can't deal with a demotion for the time being. It's not like the Rangers are giving up on him or anything.

Brian Boyle continues to play and score in the NHL... pretty amazing. Good for him.

The 7th and 10th overall picks go down the toilet. Nothing surprises me with the rangers anymore. Will see how it pans out.

Another reason Gorton was fired. Lottery luck and Fox only wanting to play for the Rangers is saving this team now.

Gallant saying Hunt played well this pre-season was laughable. No he hasn't. He's sucked and has done nothing all pre-season. It was a waivers thing. Some morons in our fan base said just waive Hajek and keep Kravtsov up. Hard to believe we have fans in our fan base that retarded. Honestly, Hajek should have won the starting job over Miller. He is much more solid defensively at this point. You don't piss away a guy like that to keep a Russian crybaby who from what I hear his teammates question his willingness to battle and say he floats a lot. Then I heard Kings fans on HF say Lias has done very well for them and has developed great chemistry with Vilardi. No he hasn't. Lias hasn't done shit for the Kings. He's not even taking faceoffs. I've yet to see any kind of Vilardi and Andersson production together. Always a tremendous amount of bullshit being spouted before the season. Every year about 1o go 15 teams think their defenseman group are good and by about game 30 they realize they suck balls. I haven't heard one analyst talk about Kakko exploding this year which is so freakin obvious he's going to do.

Totally on Gorton. We should give some credit to the guy who stole Lindgren, Strome, and Zibanejad though. Also maybe the guy who drafted Miller, Schneider, and Chytil, and added Gauthier (guys who many seem to love). I just don't know who that guy was though...darn.

Believe me, it wasn't Gorton who drafted Schneider or Cuylle. It was JD. That entire draft was all JD. He drafted the kind of players Gorton never did. Gorton would have drafted another euro pussy. First thing JD came in and said was the team was full of pussies and needed to get tougher. JD was also 100% responsible for getting Panarin here. Not Gorton. Chytil has proved nothing yet. Miller and Chytil are soft players. Something Gorton loved. Lindgren and Zibanejad were great trades. However, most people think the McDonagh trade was awful. I never thought they were going to win here with McDonagh at that point and if Lundkvist is a star than the trade can work out. Every GM makes a few good trades. It doesn't change the fact the dumb fuck screwed up the 7th and 9th overall picks in the draft which is atrocious. It doesn't change the fact the dumb fuck gave out NMC's and NTC's to every non franchise player who came up for a contract. The Kreider and Trouba contracts are fucking nightmares. We can only pray Drury bullies them into dropping them so he can get rid of their asses. Gorton turned out to be a bad GM. If the Rangers didn't get lottery luck for the first time in their franchise history this team would be in shambles. Especially if Fox didn't only want to play for the Rangers.

I know - good = not Gorton. Bad = Gorton. That has been established. We talk up Miller and Chytil, you especially, now when it doesn't fit your argument you go the other way. Funny stuff as usual.

Stole Lindgren, Strome, and Zibanejad. Made a lot of good picks (and also misses - as all teams have). Panarin here. Fox trade was a steal (again no credit because he wanted to be here). Long list of good things Gorton did. He also has a list of bad things. Some bad trades, some bad picks, and also not adding toughness and grit all true and issues.

But please let's have balance. Downplaying what he did here as lottery luck and Fox wanting to be here as his only saving grace, is not fair or factual.

I haven't talked up Miller and Chytil all pre-season so you just lied your ass off. Go back and check the posts instead of talking out of your ass. I've said Hajek should be starting over Miller. I also said if Chytil doesn't improve this year a ton he will be traded. I see you still lack the ability to read.

If you want further proof how fucking stupid Gorton is when he was doing an NHL show he was smirking about the Buchnevich - Blais trade. It took Rangers fans about 2 games to realize Blais is a winner and exactly more of what this team needs while Buchnevich is a losing player. Yet, Gorton is such a retard even after being fired he still doesn't get it.

How about a Blais vs Buchnevic prop bet? Combined points + hits - penalty minutes.

Blais is what this team needs. To show you what a non-competitive loser Crapsov is he said he would play in the AHL for a year for another team which means he never thought he could make this team this year or any other year. Dreger despite that says interest is high in Crapsov.

Gauthier is a Canes 1st round bust so the Rangers are not alone, he remains large, fast and unimpressive to me - hope this is his breakout year. I think Kravstov should be on the Rangerstoo but like Lias, there may be underlying bs that makes him a clubhouse cancer and expendable. I wouldn't move him unless a ridiculous deal that Drury can't refuse comes along.

Gauthier is not a bust. Absolute nonsense. They traded him for Joey Keane who they liked a lot as a righty defenseman and who they wanted to potentially replace Faulk. He's one of the few Rangers that actually does generate scoring chances that isn't on the top 2 lines. He just needs to finish a bit better.

Kreider is not longer a threat speed wise. IMO, he's a lost a lot. Gauthier is much faster than him. Almost once a game he blows by a defenseman, cuts to the net for a point blank shot. Just needs to finish. I was thinking as I said in another thread that Kreider will be moved to the third line in a checking role. Maybe Dillion Dube is a target. Calgary could badly use a Zac Jones. I figure if you package Kravtsov and Jones for Dube and a pick you could put Dube with Lafreniere. Two young players that are willing to learn how to play with each other and Zibanejad who is a stubborn jackass can either stay on that line or move with Panarin and Strome can move to the Lafreniere line.

I just read that Kravtsov's justification for quitting on Rangers is not because of Drury, or not making the team. There is no room for him in the top 6 and he sees himself as a top 6 winger. He is behind, Panarin, LFA, Kakko and Krieder. So he has only 3rd line to look forward to.

I actually understand him. He is a talented winger who is sent down to the miners and his destination is 3rd line. The Rangers drafted him before LFA and Kakko, so we didn't dream of winning the lottery 2 years in a row after drafting Kravtsov.

I am actually on the Kravtsov side here. He did do the same shit when he was 19, which doesn't help his case but today, this year, I get it.

Give me a break what kind of fucking pussy has an attitude like that. Kreider is not young really you can’t beat that guy out he only scores on the power-play now.
