Nenad Krstic has arrived in Oklahoma City where he awaits the Nets’ decision on whether to match the Thunder’s three year, $15.8 million offer. Although New Jersey reporters says the Nets have until Tuesday to match or decline, Oklahoman writers believe the deadline is Monday. Numerous sources have the Nets trying to make a trade to open up a roster spot before deciding.

I can't imagine the Nets would match the offer. They didn't seem to have any interest in him in the offseason, plus they added Brook Lopez, so would he really even be necessary?

I say we try to get him. His type of injury takes 2 years to come back from, plus he is not getting paid too much so it might even work to our advantage.

We shouldn't give him a starting spot though. Benching Lopez is a joke, and Yi, the joke, is kind of forced to start on this team. That teams Boone, Sean, and Stro. Stro is a FA this year and I'd be highly surprised if we re-sign him. Meanwhile, Sean could be out any day now. It's better to get Krstic with his high potential than some other idiot I'm sure front office will pine for.

i think thorn just want to work with the rookies he has. Coach Frank knows what krstic's defense is like and figures it won't get any better. So see ya Krstic. We can get a good PF in the draft or free agency. Krstic ain't it, neither is Yi.
