And just what do you base that on? So I am racist now because I don't think race belongs in our discussions for the most part? I bet 1984 is your favorite book. War is Peace!!
Speaking of definitions turning 180 degrees, schools now apparently teach that the definition of "racism" is "mentioning race." You didn't quite say that but many younger people seem to equate the two. Talking about race moves the country to the left, and about gender, to the right. That's why we've always been discouraged to do the former and encouraged on the latter. Not allowing humorous variance from the party line is a second way to control it.
The definition of "anti-racism" now is, "I'm all for equality as long as they obey our laws, obey European cultural values, and are basically white people on the inside. There is no possible alternative value system to the white one."
You should have seen TV variety shows around 1970. Lots of racial humor. Revolutionary times. Not just resentful stuff from white middle class kids like now who equate racism with mentioning race, but funny stereotypes from black ghetto comedians who were freeing up white brains.
