Find a way to get 13 or 15 by taking Hayward.

Sign and trade Ant, 7, 15, and Hart or Little for Durant.

lineup:

Dame
Hart
Durant
Grant
Nurk

What is the max assets we can even send out for Durant?

how about Ant, Nas, Hart or Bledsoe this years 7 and And future #1. We’d be sellling out for win now mode but would definitely make us contenders. Probably pick up some decent players wanting to win championship

It would be Simons, the Player from the the #7th pick, Little, Bledsoe and future picks

I think Durant has even said over the years that he'll never play for Portland since we took Oden over him. Kind of like the Tom Brady grudge he held all these years. As much as it's fun to fantasize about a Dame/Hart/Durant/Grant/Nurk lineup, I don't ever see Durant as being a willing participant in a trade to Portland... :-(

Pick the guy they want at 7.
Hart
Nas
Bledsoe
Winslow
future picks if we get CHI to remove some protections.

I don't know they'd want Winslow, he's more of a bench role player, so if not needed to match salaries lets put Keon in his place. It seems that its so obvious our pick would convey to Chicago in 2023, the Nets might be fine with getting conditional picks back that just say 2 years after pick conveys to Chicago. For example the Lakers did this to Orlando when acquiring Dwight Howard. If the trade was finalized in July then the Blazers could put in their 2029 1st round pick too. So then the max assets Portland could throw in is;

#7, Bledsoe, Hart, Little, Keon, 3 first round picks (2025, 2027, 2029) and 3 first round pick swaps (2024, 2026, 2028)

Blazers depth chart after trade assuming they resign Ant & Nurk;

Dame
Ant
Durant
Grant Winslow
Nurk

That looks to be the max the Blazers could do from what I can tell. That's actually a pretty damn good haul of assets for the Nets. Plus the Nets could flip Irving to a team for draft picks, etc now or in July. Could even flip Simmons eventually if they want too. Its really only two picks the Nets still owe Houston, as some of the swaps will probably see both teams suck so those probably won't be costly. With all of our picks and some from Philly the Nets would have a lot of picks to build with. Durant is going to be 34 before the season starts. There is some real bad downside long term risk to the Blazers, especially way out in 2029 when Durant and Dame are retired and that could be the #1 overall level of lottery pick. But it gives the Blazers their first real contending roster since 2000. Is there any way the Blazers don't want to do this deal?

Things can change. I think Portland is a perfect opportunity for him to win one without people saying that he sold out.

Ant has to go out. I think Hart stays, and he would need to stay. He's the perfect shooting guard to go with Dame/Durant/Grant.

Well since the owner at the time back then died, and we have a new team president, and the GM who was in charge of the draft got fired, along with the next GM getting fired, and the GM after being fired... and Lillard was drafted years later as the only player who has been with this franchise long term....... perhaps Durant has moved past this.

Are the Nets going to want to pay Ant the max? Because if I'm Ant's agent and a key part of a Durant trade getting completed, I'm certainly going to push hard for that.

Want to say it but holding back.............. It also gets into the whole issue of a trade with the #7 pick being dependent on an upcoming free agent. Yes Durant is the level of player teams discuss on how to figure a way to make that work, maybe the Blazers just draft who they want at #7 and confirm Brooklyn likes this player as well so they can try to complete this trade later. I just think Portland and Brooklyn would probably prefer to get a trade done at the draft and move on with their offseason; not being dependent on Ant cooperation as a free agent.

Plus Ant also would have BYC issues I think. Maybe they could find a way to still include him or a third team or Ingels instead.

Oh and I didn't mention Durant's shoe deal is with Nike; whose founder is putting in offers to buy the Blazers. Maybe instead of our franchise being on his black list it would be on his short list?

I’d rather we win a championship organically than try and some version of super team

Any way Durant could say he'll push for a PDX trade if Jody/Vulcan accept Phil Knights offer? That type of offseason would blow my socks off.

are you kidding? im so tired of losing and not having playoff success. i just want one damn ring.

Look at how happy Cleveland and Toronto fans are after winning rings from mercenary players.

Besides, KD coming here would be correcting a mistake as is.

Plus having Dame be on the team for over a decade, Nurk and Ant here, Grant born in Portland, etc I'm totally fine with it.

Its not like LeBron and his super friends with 6 all stars all decided to have a party in Portland one year before they go elsewhere. It's adding one star to a group of Blazers, sort of what we did with Pippen and Smith but one player instead of two.

Jason Kidd, Shawn Marion, and Tyson Chandler all jumped on Dallas to help them win the title. They had Dirk as the franchise, then added key teammates, that's how this has to be done. There is no way to build a contender in Portland or really any city if all we are going to do is build from the draft and ignore trades/free agents.
