It's on.

Reporting from Portland, Ore. -- The Lakers don't have many things to worry about right now, but there's one item at the top of a very short list: They'd better not play Portland in the playoffs.

They came up here once again and lost once again, the result now as predictable as clouds in the winter in the Pacific Northwest.

not trying to put the horse in front of the cart, but a series with the Lakers would be fun to watch. :D

Correct me if I'm right, but I agree.

Would be cool to go to a 7th game against the Lakers, but have a better 4th quarter than we did back in 2000. I'm pretty sure that we are just seeing the tip of the iceberg of things that are coming for this young Portland squad.

This ain't no iceberg, pal. It's a ball of fire!! :onfire:

I'd much rather finish it in six here. Be so sweet to be able to attend the game that the Lakers are eliminated at! Plus, I don't trust winning a game 7 on the road.

My point being....and I know you're following me is that what we are seeing now with this young squad is the tip of the iceberg. What is to come is much, much bigger.

My point being that the monkey of game 7 in 2000 would finally be gone taking the Lakers down in their building. Revenge is best served cold in game seven at their building. :D

So you're suggesting that the Blazers are as good as they'll ever be right now, and they're poised for an ENORMOUS freefall to the bottom of the depths (NBA)?

...sorry, couldn't resist :ghoti:

Actually the complete opposite, but I think you get the analogy. :D

You planning to watch any games at a sports bar? Hope we can hook-up when we finally get out there. We'll be arriving on May 14th. Hoping the Blazers are still in the playoffs at that point!
