That's from Jason Quick. That's doesn't sound good if u want Roy to remain a Blazer.
 
Yeah, I thought that was pretty cold. If I was Brandon, I'll feel pretty stabbed in the back.
(Yeah, I know, Roy's going to be a millionaire whatever happens. Still.)
 
i guess i dont see the "cold" part?

hes saying he doesnt want to talk about it, it sucks, and when it comes down to it, its not his decision
 
Maybe this is a good thing? Amnesty or not, this is now LA's team, let's see him treat it that way.

I fully agree. He's this team's only real shot at remaining truly competitive and the last thing he needs is to play tug-of-war with the ball and with Brandon for the position of alpha dog on this team.

Right - Roy or no Roy, LA needs to be of the mind that this is his team and we rise or fall with him.

Aldridge is just now entering his prime. He's going to be a great player.
 
I see it a bit differently than some, I guess. Brandon may indeed feel stabbed in the back, but that doesn't mean he is. What I see, rather than Aldridge abandonning Roy, is Aldridge showing maturity and leadership. It does Aldridge no good and does the team no good for LaMarcus to take a public stand on whether to keep Brandon or use the amnesty clause on him. Doing so would only be disruptive to the team, and to the overall leadership of the organization, no matter which way it plays out. Spouting off about it, in effect challenging the authority of the decision-makers, is no way to run an army. Kudos to LaMarcus.

What is LMA supposed to say? If he says he wants Roy in Portland, and he is waived, he becomes a part of that story. If he says Roy is finished, and should be waived, and Roy stays, LMA becomes a part of that story.

This way, he addressed the issue, and basically washed his hands of it. I guess I don't see the "cold" part of it, other than LMA not wanting to insert himself into the debate about Roy.

LOL, I thought so too, I've always liked the "potential" of Ewill, the LMA comment gets me fired up to see him play this season
 
E-Will won't get off the bench, or barely will if Nate insists on starting Roy and using Wesley as the backup....
 
I turned Williams into ROY last year and an all-star on NBA2k this year. Matthews is awesome tradebait in that game. I moved him and Felton for Devin Harris and Raja Bell.
 
Not as long as Roy can hobble on one leg and Nate is still head coach....
 
LA plays a lot better without Roy. LA knows his team plays a lot better without Roy. A superstar Roy can help win games regardless, but this version can't

LA did the right thing! I'd be a little yanked if I were him to know that my team will suffer so B Roy can sell T-Shirts though...

So agree with this, this team is built to run, but with Roy that isn't going to happen, they are going to slow it down and watch there is going to be issues this season with playing style. While Roy might still be a decent player, he really is a shell of what he once was and this version of Roy is gone to slow this team, he is going to make a game winning shot and I'm sure someone somewhere is going to say the magic is back, but truth be said.......it really isn't.
