Attendance is a performance affected statistic. You combine a lame game time experience with a treadmill team in a market constantly hamstrung by a rigged system, it will hamper your bottom line. I really doubt that the league gives a shit too much, as they know with big teams coming to town, attendance will increase along with boosting TV numbers.

100% I’ve had season tix my whole life and since McGowan came in, the experience is not the same. Its like the authenticity is gone. They do corny intro videos now that nobody relates to. Just do highlights from previous games like they use to do.. dunks blocks. Things that fire fans up. I dont Want to see a comic book version of Evan Turner.
Even the music they play for momentum type situation time outs is weaakkkk. Whatever happened to they hey song!!!
Let’s not forget that it’s also the play of the team...
BRING BACK THE CHALUPA
Just guessing here but, “the hey song” (Rock and Roll Part 2) was written by Gary Glitter, a long time and notorious pedophile, who only in the past decade or so has started to pay for his sins. Perhaps the Blazer front office decided not to glorify this asshole (or put royalty monies in his pocket) by using his music? Again, I’m just guessing but I’d certainly support that theory if it were true......

This is nothing new, I've noticed the decline in home court advantage for several years now. Relative to the majority of the league people still go to the games, but they just sort of sit there for the most part (perhaps due to the legalization of weed).

This may explain the NFL's attendance problem. Football fans are too stoned now to attend.

If a cup of beer costs $8, Paul Allen could double his $13 billion wealth by having the beer sellers sell $50 joints.

Before we trade him, I just thought of a last-gasp motivation technique for Meyers Leonard. This will buy him another 5 years.

or maybe many football fans played the sport and after multiple head banging games...now no longer remember what football is

Yes, sellouts are different than Standing Room Only. I think it only has to be 90% of capacity to be soldout.

It was nice to hear it get loud last night. Loved the reaction to the flop.

I was watching Dallas' feed and their announcers were all like "Why is this crowd booing ? Nurkic clearly pushed him !" acting like they didn't see their players flopped like a bitch lmao

Beers: $18 a pop
Hot dog: $12
Parking: $100
Food after the game: $450

shit adds up bro

100$ for parking wth?
Where exactly are you parking? The Blazers paid parking is like 15$.
And at the red lion or wtfever it's called it's free.

Blazers are 1 game out of the #5 spot.....and 2 games out of the #9 spot. They will most likely make the Playoffs because there are only 9 teams playing worth a darn. #10 Utah is playing at a .413 pace and are already 8 games under .500.

So they should make the Playoffs because there there is really no competition to make it. But they are smack dab in the middle of basketball purgatory and have been for a couple of years. Most likely they make it and play the Warriors, Rockets or Spurs and then it will come to a quick end unless their opponent has Clipper like injuries.

Sadly, very ho-hum.

Idk. We're 4 games behind 4th. If we win some games were not supposed to (Starting with MIN on Wednesday), take care of the ones we are, and get better at the deadline, maybe we can push for a 3 seed. SAS has the hardest remaining schedule and Kawhi is out indefinitely and they're only 4.5 games ahead.

Um, HOU just beat GSW to pull within 3.5 games and they're talking about tiebreakers. When GSW may lose 7 games the rest of the season.

We're 4 games out of the 3 seed. Against the aforementioned Spurs without Kawhi and MIN (who knows how they're going to take making the playoffs for the first time since (deleted)). Dame is playing really well, CJ's playing mostly well, our rookie showed some life, we have most of a big 3, and the trade deadline can go in a bunch of different ways for us.

If you can't get excited about the potential of this team over the rest of the season?

I got a close relation who I grew up with who denies he's a Blazer fan any more. Any of you have this problem with this? Lapsed Blazer fans?

There's a lot of people down here that stopped caring about them because there was no way to watch the games for almost a decade other than pirating. The team really lost themselves a lot of fans that are now Warrior fans down here because their channel has been available all along.
