anyone have any spats? There was a classy older couple who were Laker fans a row below me last night. But to the right there were some mouthy MOUTHY ones. We jawed back and forth the whole game.. but they got up to cheer Rudy being hurt so I made it my mission to unleash all my verbal abuse on him during the whole 4th quarter and make him by Biznatch. Any of you in here the guys who had my back in section 324 last night?

laker fans are trash.

Not all of them. I agree about 90% of them who show up at the RG are garbage and will be fans of the next nba champions.. or are fans of Kobe more than the team. But I have run into quote a few intelligent non homeristic ones before.

a good portion of them are, especially the younger ones. even in LA.....the ones in the lower sections were pretty cool (casual ones) the little freak shows that are all gangstered out are trash.

exactly.. those are the ones I get into it with. Throughout the 4th all he could say was "Do it on the road.. do it on the road" and when I responded "Win here on the road, not Memphis" he didnt have much to say.

There was a verbal WAR going on at halftime out on one of the 300 level smoking sections. I think it's 334 or so? It was EPIC! About 6-7 Laker fans jawing, chanting, whatnot. Then we got involved and shut them down. All they know how to chant is "MVP" - "MVP" - and really, it does not affect me. It's a lame chant. So we started the "No means No" chant. And I decided that MVP actually stands for Most Valuable Pedophile....of course I had to share this with the Laker fans. Their ring leader was wearing a fucking Laker Gary Payton jersey. I unloaded on him. I also unloaded on every Kobe fan wearing a #8 jersey. "Hey! You know that's not his number anymore, right?!" One Laker fan said to me - "I know, but I got it for 8 bucks." Cheap ass Laker fan.

But the BEST was their dumb asses chanting "Bo-wie!" "Bo-wie!" pronouncing it like David Bowie, no Boo-ee, referencing Oden. They stopped and I looked at them and said, completely unfazed by their idiot chant - "It's BOO-EE dumbfuck." They were done after that.

god, that must be fun when the blazers nation has your back. haha. games at the staples center....shit, i can't even imagine what the 300 section would be like if a blazer fan went up in there.

You're my hero... seriously.

I thought the LA Sucks chant was kind of weak when Rudy was down to be honest. Lakers always chant portland sucks and shit like that when the blazers are in town......

Portland needs to come up with their own shit...even the MVP chant just reminds me too much of LA crowds. should have done the wave.

By my unofficial count, I saw 9 fans escorted out of the arena by the "gray Jackets".

7 Lakers Fans
2 Blazers Fans

Things in my section were testy all night, but the Rudy foul boiled the emotions that much more. I had to help seperate the older man sitting next to me from the 3 teenage Laker fans behind us, becuase he was non to happy that they were laughing while Rudy laid motionless on the court.

The one thing I've always noticed about Laker fan at the Rose Garden, they come in loud, and leave very quiet....

Nice! Yeah the guy tried bringing up Oden not playing then I just asked him. "Hey Dumbass.. how long is your Center supposed to be out? And you do realize that Our Starting Center now plays some Defense while yours just made Pryzbilla look like an all star on that last play?" His pregnant Laker girlfriend even laughed.

Maybe if every time a Laker fan went to the bathroom they ended up in the hospital, they wouldn't come to the games anymore.

LMAO!!!!! can I use that as my signature please?

i wish more people had these mini-camcorders to record all this shit.

I'm an idiot. I have a flip camera and I've never brought it to a game. These kind of "altercations" happen with regularity in our smoking section, and I have none of it documented. I will do so going forward.

couldnt agree more

the thing about laker fans is they go around yelling "lakerrrrrrrrrsssssssss" and talk all this shit when they're winning with their backwards cap and their jerseys...you see them all the time on national TV at away games, the dumbasses they are always praising themselves, talking shit to everyone and being just little pieces of shit. then when they're down, they don't even watch the game. such bandwagon shit its fucking pathetic.

I saw her at the game. Assuming she was the only pregnant lady wearing a Laker jersey in the RG.

They were saying on the radio that a few fights broke out in the stands. During the "Jail Blazers" era it seemed like half the people in the RG were wearing LA jerseys. Now not so much but I even said last night that I was concerned that LA fans wouldn't be able to get out of there unhurt.

A truer stereotype does not exist.

Funny you say that Spud, the line the "old guy" was using on the teenage Lakers fans was this ...

"Think it's funny that our player got hurt...You wanna be next?"

And I'm pretty sure that was his intent!
