Laker Fans last night...

They were saying on the radio that a few fights broke out in the stands. During the "Jail Blazers" era it seemed like half the people in the RG were wearing LA jerseys. Now not so much but I even said last night that I was concerned that LA fans wouldn't be able to get out of there unhurt.

I wouldnt worry about that.. we are usually pretty non physically confrontational. Verbal stuff sure... but thats all in good fun IMO. but Physical stuff usually only happens with drunken idiots... not when fans walk out early due to a loss.

A truer stereotype does not exist.

i stay away from happy hour when a lakers game is on in the playoffs (during the regular season, no one is watching the game anyways)...just too many of those weak ass fuckers and its annoying. hate hate hate Laker fans with a passion. such contrived bullshit...the thing is most of them don't have a real opinion on things, they repeat the same lame phrases (Paulina Pierce in a wheelchair!) or whatever they read on LakersGround or hear on Vic the Brick. such unoriginal, low basketball IQ having motherfuckers.

I met a down-to-earth, kind, non-homer laker fan once, he said just to ignore the trollish Laker fans last year, because they are probably just Jr. High kids and are probably Boston fans this year. LOL!

Im going to a POR/LAL game in POR next year...I need to experience this

...and i dont start fights

....i end them

If I hadn't sold my whole season for next year because I am going to be a first time daddy I would take you with me. Section 211. However it is a more mild section as far as all this crap you hear about.

:sigh: thanks for the thoughts

...oh, and congrats!

Congrats! We're 8 1/2 months into it and I had no idea how little free time I would have. It's well worth it, however.

Its not that bad up there, I just think emotions where high seeing a key player lying on the floor... and oppoising acting like dipwits cheering about that. I'm pretty sure you wouldnt be like that, so you should be fine.

Had two Lakers fans to my right (and their buddy, a Blazers fan one more over harassing them the whole game), and a big dude who was a Lakers fan behind me. The Lakers fan to my right spilled a beer where I was sitting as I walked in, she screamed high pitched in the 4th for Kobe's free throws. She was just a drunken idiot, and I'm glad her Blazers friend was talking crap throughout the game.

The guy behind me was talking crap in the beginning when Kobe shot one over Batum, "Ohhh! He's just a rookie!" The next play Batum shook Kobe and dunked it. I ended up on my feet cheering then turned around and shrugged, "Oh! But! But! He's only a rookie!"

That was as much as I ended up getting into it last night. It wasn't really my goal at all, and wouldn't have left the best impression on the person I went with.

Yeah I usually try and stay out of spats.. I think emotions were just running high with Rudy hurt and them cheering. I got sucked into it. But when we did the Beat LA chant before the game.. I could tell this crowd was ready for the game.
