Lakers are going to offer Nurk a max contract! :MARIS61:
damn straight they will!Lakers are going to offer Nurk a max contract! :MARIS61:
What are the Lakers going to do with Thomas? Pay him to come off the bench next summer? I don't think the value was there for I.T. The Lakers got a pick for two good young players. Cavs won this deal IMO

Lakers cleared enough space for both LBJ and PG. Obviously, if they get both, this was a completely ridiculous trade for the Lakers.
I disagree. Clarkson is better than post-hip-injury IT; they upgraded. Nance is likely better than whoever they'd pick at 23 (est); also an upgrade. I think they made their team better this year, and that's all they really care about right now, but even if (when?) Lebron leaves, I think they're better off having done this deal. Without Lebron, cap space will mean nothing in Cleveland.Cavs GM is stupid as fuck. Clarkson and Lance for Thomas AND A pick?! Wow.
He's as bad of a defender and he's not very efficient. Clarkson is a good 6th man on a team full of defenders. In CLEs case, not a good fit.I disagree. As bad? No. Nobody is as bad as IT. He's not good, but let's not overstate it. And he iss going to be their 6th man--Hill is going to start. He's as bad of a defender and he's not very efficient. Clarkson is a good 6th man on a team full of defenders. In CLEs case, not a good fit.
