I ask this here because the Lakers are such a polarizing team that Blazer fans have historically despised. However, now that Miami's trio has come to fruition, who would you root for if they met in the finals? And if not root, who would you rather see lose in the finals if they were to meet up.

I'm torn. I HATE the Lakers, but damn, I don't want to see Miami win it either. My dislike for the piss and purple runs deep enough that I'd have to say Miami. You?

I actually have Miami Heat gear. I bought a Shaq T-shirt just to wear to talk shit with L*kers fans and in 7th grade I used to cheer for the HEAT since my favorite player in the league was there (Sherman Douglas)
 
Why the hate for Miami? Three players deciding to team up? Why shouldn't they?

It'll be worse than having to choose between Boston and LA. So neither.
 
This is so easy I can't believe it is even close.

Miami, duh. If the Blazers don't win the championship I don't care who does as long as it is NOT the Lakers.

I don't have any hate for Miami. I have never like Lebron but never hated him either but after tonight I very much dislike him. It would be very hard to root for the Lakers but I would over any team Lebron is on. I hope he never wins a championship. Fuck Lebron!
 
I don't have to root for a team in every game I watch.
I don't have to watch a finals match without the Blazers.
 
This brings me back to the 80's. Between Boston and LA. I ended up hating the defending champ just a little bit more than the other each year. So I switched every year or so. I hated the Laker players more, but the east coast sports writers at the time bugged the shit out of me too.

I assume I would do the same. Or root for an early hurricane season.
 
The Heat...But really If it isnt the Blazers who are winning the title i could honestly care less who wins it....
 
before this I would say Miami... but with Lebron there, and the fact that I never want him to win ANYTHING... I say Lakers.
 
Kobe forced his way to the Lakers as an unproven HS kid. He cheated on his wife and put her through a public humiliation and people hate Lebron more for being a selfish 25 year old guy who thinks it would be fun to play with two great NBA players in Miami?

12 - 12??? are you serious? even if miami signed hitler, bush, bin laden and satan and the lakers sign gandhi, jesus and clyde, waived kobe and gasol i would still root for miami.
