I like Ramona, but i think this is a bunch of BS

Ramona Shelburne on ESPN LA (hat tip: Ryan Ward of Lakers Nation):

I think LaMarcus Aldridge is actually a lot more in play than people think.

How can you really improve that group up in Portland? I think Neil has done a great job up there, but it’s Portland. He’s never quite fit in, and they’ve made it really clear that Damian Lillard is the face of their franchise.

We already had a thread on this baloney a couple of days ago.

Sorry, i must have not seen it :(

No worries. It's going to seem like a long time between now and July and we're going to read a bunch of crap like this. It would be nice if the vultures waited until after the playoffs to start circling overhead.

well since they have nothing to do, i.e. no playoffs, they have to do something!

LaMarcus had an interesting career path. He played second fiddle to Durant in college and it continued that way in Portland with Roy and then Lillard. NBA fans can be fickle and Rip City is no exception. It wouldn't surprise me if LaMarcus has a couple of gripes, but he also benefitted from being here in a smaller market. It is what it is.

How the hell did he play second fiddle to Durant? You do know Durant played his one year at Texas during LaMarcus's rookie year in the NBA, right?

Hate to say it but it wouldn't surprise me either way. If he does leave thou I hope he would be kind enough to let Neil work a sign & trade instead of just bolting.

Wild speculation and opinion based on nothing is modern journalism and constitutes a rumor. The world is going to hell in a hand basket. And get off my lawn.

Don't even try to say you hate to say it, lol...

Well of course if your a fan of one of the teams salivating about LMA then your going to come up with a shit ton of reasons that it might seem like a FA would want to leave and come play for that team. Plus a story about LMA to "insert fanbase with crappy team or on the brink team" is going to drive tons of clicks and views regardless if it has any real info or not.
