When the season is over would any of you go to a rally to keep LMA in Portland?

Just saw who wrote this article... I'll brush this under the rug like the thousand other shitty articles Quick tried to troll on us

Seriously, the Blazers "list of concerns after Game 1" should begin and end with winning Game 2.

Fuck you Quick for trying to stir shit up and distract the team from their immediate goal. Fuck you and the horse that rode in on you.

Right now I'm more interested in joining a mob to go after JQ.

It's so bizarre to me that we have 2 reporters working for the largest newspaper in the state that consistently make themselves a part of the story. They are both starving for attention and don't care who is in their wake. This isn't a story to report on, it's his "opinion". And in this case he's created a distraction completely out of his head for the entire team after 1 play off game. Every single press conference from now on is going to feature LaMarcus getting hounded about how he feels about Portland and resigning.

You know what? I am exaggerating about this coming out of his head... he does have unknown "players" feeding him information because he's just so trustworthy and/or there was enough of a gap in the blinds for him to see some kind of sign language between said "players" and LaMarcus.

Coming out of his "head"? LOL I'm pretty sure it came out a little farther south. ;)

Sports journalism is a cut throat business and The Oregonian is one of the worst papers out there. I can imagine any reporter there just wants to get pad his/her morgue file with as many headlines as possible and move on. I am sure Canzano sees himself as a NW version of Skip Bayless just waiting for large media exposure. Hopefully he gets it and leaves.

I swear to God if Aldridge goes to LA he is dead to me. There is no forgiveness for any Blazer, knowing our history with the Lakers, to ever remotely consider going to LA. This is why I hate Blake
I can't really blame Blanky or any other borderline NBA player for following the payday while they can. A star like Aldridge though can write his own ticket. If he forced his way to LA, I agree: Dead to me. Thankfully that is NOT going to happen.

I remember the rally when Oden came to town. That didn't end too well.

Nice strawman. LA is statistically one of the best Blazers ever. He has multiple seasons of playing 82 games per. And you compare him to a guy who only played 82 for us? :smiley-pat:

I would love to put down 20 bucks that LMA stays. I will give whoever wants to take the other end 5 to 1 odds. 100 bucks for you if he leaves. Any takers?

And yes I am feeling snarky today. Sorry all.
I don't want to lose $20. Only a fool would take this bet. Even the haters won't do it because they are all pussy anyway

I don't think LMA is leaving but I'll take that bet for 10 to 1 odds.

I am sorry. That one hurt but I deserved it.

I was going to counter with 8 to 1 but what they hey. Sure. All in good fun anyways (actually it won't be fun if I have to pay you and not because I will be losing money).

I don't want to speak for the OP...but I think you may have missed the point. It isn't about stats - Blazer fans embraced Oden before he ever played a single game, and he repaid us by shitting all over us. Same with Walton.
