It's awesome he has done this. And just the unselfishness of the decision.
But I think he needs to have the surgery. What's going on in Rip City with him, his teammates and really this culture is much bigger than this one season. The Blazers can still move on with their plan without him. And that is create something very similar to what the Spurs had last year. Developing players and the system and Stotts has a good one so it makes them difficult to beat. Next year could be very special barring injuries. I think next year is what you play for. I don't agree with Canzanos article. I think is LA sold. He is in the perfect situation. Perfect coach for him and his skill set. Perfect team mates for he and himself. He has the chance of going down as one of the best Blazers of all time if he stays. And his chances of winning here as long as everything stays the same is just as great as it is anywhere. I believe that.
