[B-Edge] LMA hospitalized this week with potentially deadly virus

On Saturday I came down with a blood virus. I quickly became sick and had to be rushed to the hospital. I thought it was a case of bad food or a bad cold, but I was wrong. It turned out to be a very serious virus that if not treated quickly could actually be deadly! One thing I know for sure is that I’ve never felt worse in my life and there were times I wasn’t really sure where I was going. Thankfully I had a lot of family support and great medical care that helped me fight through it and now I’ve turned the corner and I’m feeling much better.

@hubot img me giant head

Let me get this straight. Aldridge almost died Saturday, May 26. He finally told us 6 days later on Friday, June 1, after he got out of the hospital.

If this ever happens during the season, will anyone notice that he's missing games?

If he had died, would anyone have bothered to tell us?

In answer to your questions: only in the first quarter, and no.

Well, obviously, if Aldridge is deathly ill his first responsibility is to inform the fans.

Everything is bigger in Texas, including the deadly blood virus carrying insects

Great to hear!

I can start shooting today flat-footed (no jumping yet,) so I'm going to take advantage of that and start getting up shots. Want to work on my shooting form and ball handling. One of my goals for next season is to be better at attacking the rim off the dribble from the block and the elbow area.
Had a rough week before, but now I've bounced back and I'm doing great.

Holy shit finally. I swear I could count on one hand the times he's done this from the elbow or anywhere near it.
