You also have to remember that the officials had to make that call real time..... not with slow-mo. Too close to call.

Great block or game-tying basket?
You guys be the judge. [video=youtube;HMgi4F4q-gs]
I'm surprised they didn't review this. I think LA slapped the ball before it hit the backboard.
I didn't realize that this was a reviewable call until I read that Aldridge asked them to review it and they said No.
It's NOT reviewable. The refs couldn't and didn't look at the replays.
So what plays are reviewable? And were you responsible for that zoom-in on the naked toes of the blonde sideline reporter at halftime? Yeh, that's right, they showed that on NBA.com!
When it happened live I screamed GOALTENDNG. After looking at all 8 of our angles in slowmo, over and over and over, it was still a tough call to make. I'm just saying, real speed it looked like goaltending. I can't blame the refs on this one.
And you don't make that call at the end of a game. If it had been the other way around, I assure you they would have not called Durant for goal tending.
You might be right. Tie usually goes to the offensive player though.
So in a game of 1 on 1 with The HCP....... you'd get all the calls?
Even if the league calls it a clean block nothing happens correct?

You give the home team the benefit of the doubt. Especially when your making the call from halfcourt and the other refs near the play didn't call it.
This happens in OKC it never gets called.
