Looking at this from that angle, Nate has actually made more than a few trips to Eugene to watch UO football practices and games. Perhaps he'll be a bit inspired by the Duck fast-break offense, and will finally allow the team to run a bit, even if it means a few more turnovers?

Sorry, man. Did they call you with the news about Blazers Broadcasting? I haven't seen anything that cold since "The Decision". The question is, where will you take your talents to?

This guy is a major cog in decision making. Larry Miller as team president is scary.
 
So Canzano basically wrote another article speculating on a topic using a false source. Then every website picked it up nationally quoting him like it is gospel. Forcing a press conference to deny it, thus giving him even more attention. He is smart. A liar, but smart because you can't prove he lied. .

He could have written the same piece without the false "source" and it still would have been an interesting story. But this way it is more newsworthy.

Here's what he actually said:

Chad also talked to Greg's agent today. From all indications, Greg is doing very well. His rehab is going great. The doctors are pleased with where he is. Mentally it sounds like Greg is in a good place. I think he feels good about our organization and how we've supported him through all this. Hopefully Greg will be here and will be able to help us out this season.

Given that the team hasn't been able to talk with players directly yet due to league prohibitions, what more do you expect Miller to be able to say?
 
I'm not even sure why they're talking about Oden ... the free agent.
