or Thomas Robinson for 4 second round picks?
or the Pau Gasol trade to the lakers? While it looks good in hindsight at the time it was called one of the greatest robberies of all time. No one on the internet would have said this trade was possible yet it happened.
Kwame Brown, Javaris Crittenton, Aaron McKie, the draft rights to Marc Gasol, and the Lakers' 2008 and 2010 first-round draft picks for Pau Gasol and a second-round pick in 2010

weird trade happens much more in reality land than deals that have equal talent on both sides and make sense for both teams do.

Or the Grizzlies trading Quentin Richardson for Zach Randolph....

Here's one i had already forgotten: Tractor Trailer for Dirk Nowitski and Pat Garrity!

heres a good one
New York Knicks Got
Eddy Curry, Antonio Davis and a 2007 first-round pick (Wilson Chandler)
Chicago Bulls Got
Jermaine Jackson, Tim Thomas, Mike Sweetney, a 2006 first-round pick (LaMarcus Aldridge), a 2007 first-round pick (Joakim Noah), a 2007 second-round pick (Kyrylo Fesenko) and a 2009 second-round pick (Jon Brockman)

The gasol trade was a joke. If it weren't for a tad bit of collusion, it would have never happened. We don't have that on our side.

fair enough, I don't doubt that west was trying to do them a solid

How do any of the trades listed relate to Larry Sanders not being traded to the Blazers?

This question makes no sense. Do you mean how do any of the trades listed relate to Larry Sanders being traded to the Blazers? If that is the question then I was trying to illustrate that lopsided trades that heavily favor one team happen all the time. You can find examples nearly every year in the NBA. We know that the Bucks are contemplating moving Sanders because of his off court issues. So far this season he has been involved in not only the bar fight but also has been fighting with teammates. Trading for Sanders is a gamble but it is the type of gamble I would like the Blazers to make. He is still young and can figure out how to act if he wants a long career in the NBA. In Milwaukee he is asked to be a foundational piece of their lineup and to help the young guys around him. Not everyone is prepared for that much responsibility, at 25 or any age. The Bucks are looking for young talent to grow with Giannis, Henson and their top 4 pick this summer. Meyers Leonard might actually be a good fit at the center spot for them. He has shown that he can be quite capable offensively and play him with Henson and you have a nice mix of offense and defense. If Leonard was given consistent playing time and asked to look for his shot it might be better for him as well, rather than trying to force him into more of a defensive mindset. Throw in some more of our young pieces and they might be willing to pull the trigger. It's not that crazy to see how it might work.
