We don't lock threads to defend users from others, though we do have feelings and will take action against bullies. We lock threads because flaming holds no value to us as a community. We feel that the worst way to use a forum is by bashing and ruining the time of your fellow poster. I hate locking threads, and I hate having to end conversations just because 2 or 3 users don't know how to overcome a misunderstanding or how to act in public.

Sorry if it comes off as us taking sides or fighting the wars, but that is not the case.


And that Vulcan mind reading thing might be a feature of your Bullshit Detector. ;)
