LeBron James calls LaMarcus Aldridge the "biggest snub in All-Star history."

Voting doesn't matter. Stern picked the replacment just before the All-Star game.

I do believe I just read someone who expects intelligence from Stern. Someone who thinks Stern should select all-stars more wisely than Joe Sixpack. This is the first time for me and I'll always remember you.

Why am I remembering Spud right now?

Hey everybody... don't believe a word jlprk says about me... I had nothing to do with sacrificing that goat's virginity!

Oh wait, wrong thread.

I wonder if the All-star snub will help him get a few extra votes for MIP?

I don't know but it finally got him noticed! I'd say we have to go on a tear and win a bunch of games on Aldridge's back for him to be selected. So basically all he has to do is match his play for the next 18 games! Tall order, but he's proved capable.

Actually, I'd say he's more likely to be all-NBA 3rd team at this moment

What does all-NBA have to do with Most Improved Player? If your on an all-NBA team you probably don't need to improve much.

That isn't the post I responded to and contradicted with aplomb! :)

Heh heh, I hooked you with the old bait and switch. I posted a full month in one post, and 2 weeks in another. Gotcha, fishee!!!!

Jlprk is full of tricks!!!

I had skipped that "sacrifice a goat" thread because it sounded like a waste of my ultra-serious time, but now, you got me aching to read it.

As for my smelling like a goat, how did you guess that I take a shower once a month?

Honestly why the hell does anybody care? All I can think of is that he got 5 or 6 days off at home after playing 45 minutes a night for a month and half.

="winning"

Actually, I'd say he's more likely to be all-NBA 3rd team at this moment. This is how I see things at the moment.

1st
Kobe
Rose
James
Durant
Howard

2nd
Westbrook
Wade
Melo
Dirk
Amare

3rd
Paul
Ginobili
Aldridge
Gasol
Horford
disagree if thats how the votes come down as his season just hasn't been that good. I could see Gasol making 2nd over LA though.

Yea turned out good in the long run. It's all about respect, and it was nice to hear LBJ give some.
